Then leave them alone. If you respond you're only encouraging them and they may follow you home....as in here. Again, leave them alone please.

Sounds like another zombie occurrence.

I thought about MY as a utility player before he retired but decided to table it. He brings a lot of great clubhouse chemistry and leadership. He also realizes after his role with the Dodgers and how things played out this off season that he is no longer an frontline player so he may satisfied with a diminished role and be a good RH bat off the bench. But at the same time could it put some pressure on Profar if he thought that any struggles on his part could cause him to look over his shoulder. I would hope not. And MY may have the better bat but Rosales the better glove. MY reasons for not mentioning it to begin with because I found myself on the fence about the whole thing. Besides, his family may be so glad to have him around that it would not happen anyway.

Stiffness could be expected. The MRI is a little scary. After two back surgeries we should not be surprised. I said sometime ago that we should not pencil him back until he has proven he can go. Oh well, he's not out yet. Keep the fingers crossed.

On top of that, Profar has had a cortisone shot and the shoulder did not respond. That's not good news at all.

I hope you're right! I really, really do.

I too had thought the same regarding his status going into the season. If he returns, especially to form, it won't be initially. But now, having an MRI so early in ST is beyond alarming to me.

I hope the ranger brass had a contingency plan. To assume Harry would be good as new seems foolish week and a half in spring training. This is night and day different than your starting second baseman having a sore arm in the spring.

Robbie Ross just got that much more important to the 2014 season

Ouch, I had a bad feeling about this as soon as he started having back issues. They are tough to fix and sometimes the surgery's only complicate things more. Hopefully this is all precautionary but it doesn't sound like it and we really need Harry back.

I think Colby Lewis just became more important. He was just in the radio and said he feels great and expects to be on the rotation.

We need something to go right with our pitchers.

Good call then. I would have to guess its Lewis and Hanson rounding out the rotation. Capuano is still out there also along with Santana.

Red Sox just signed Capuano
