I think he would be a better hitter than both, not just AVG. No reason to argue about it because JD has shot it down already.

That is a lot on a young guy having to pitch opening day. He may be too amped up. But Darvish may still pitch. I have had a stiff neck before. Not sure why 2 weeks after it he would not be ready unless it has more to do with timing of him getting a one more start in ST first.

That was Tepesch who pitched against Wainright and the Rangers won 2-1. Perez faced Miller in a 4-2 game.
