I honestly can't believe they're pushing Ogando back to the pen. I know Romeo didn't see it coming either. I was in agreement when he said "deal with it"

Hey, I didn't expect Scheppers and Ross to both show as well as they did. They tried to give him a starting spot. He just didn't take it. Having ogando start was certainly the plan.

I got it wrong from all angles. It happens. :noidea:

I'm surprised but fact is, he didn't earn it, and actually has a role in the bullpen he can fill since Scheppers essentially takes his place

It had to happen with the success of Scheppers and Ross. Plus we still have Saunders and Hanson with Harrison and Lewis not far behind in getting ready. All good decisions by the Rangers so far including Soria as closer. And I am also glad to here them say that Feliz may go to AAA. I say do it.

Lots of decisions to be made both in the short term and long term, JD's got some roster juggling to do for sure

I know I did not see Scheppers and Ross pitching like this either. All of a sudden the starting rotation has become crowded. And I am glad about that. You are right that Ogando did not earn it but it will be nice to have him come out of the pen and smoke a few batters.

If you buy MLB.tv you will get all the games and you can watch the A's, Angels, or both lose while watching the Rangers win. I watch the rivals games on the computer with the Rangers on the TV.

Can't watch in-market games though. So while you can watch SEA @ OAK ... you can't watch TEX @ OAK on MLB-TV if you are in the TEX viewing market ... which is really really big.

Hard to believe that we are actually saying that isn't it? Who would have thought after Holland went out that we might have a glutton of starters to choose from.

Yeah, I loathe how the MLB viewing area is set up. It's a total crock. It's the same way for the NBA too. I only get Mavs games on national tv in Houston, because of the dumb league pass crap.

I said earlier Feliz may go back to AAA and I think he should till he gets straightened out if he does. Don't think Ogando would be going to the pen if he had performed up to expectations. Anyway all will work out w/ all the options coming. Looking forward to game time. Bet Winding and Romeo will be here reading some posts.

LOL! Yeah, you have said that a few times. I agree. Last year I kept saying you can't have enough pitching. It is a fragile position. You just put a number to it.

I did too. I didn't even want them stretching Scheppers out from the beginning because we've seen what happens when they move them back and forth. Now that he's shown he could be more valuable there, I hope he stays.

My late round pick of Scheppers isn't looking so bad after all....

Aducci hit the ball hard but the ss was playing by the bag and he still made it a bang-bang DP. He has some speed.

I really hope that Kouz makes the team and that Rosales does not.
