I feel bad for Hanson. He was one pitch away and got a grounder, but it was just too weakly hit.

Walks a guy after going 0-2. goes 0-2 on the next batter and after 2 balls he gets a weak grounder where a 2b plays with no one on, walks Aoki and then that Ichiro-like IF hit and now trouble. Surprised Martin did not get it but it would have been a tough play.

Looking more like Saunders gets that #5 spot. Thing is, Harrison shouldn't be far behind, Colby either. If Ross and Scheppers are pitching well, then what?

People talk about him getting at bats at dh, then choice, then Moreland. There's only so many at bats to go around at dh.

At least the way I'm reading it for now, Moreland and Choice will split the DH. Is this not your take?

But then people are talking about Kouz getting dh at bats too. And if choice is rotating around the outfield to give outfield guys half days off at dh, there's more dh at bats taken up.

Josh Wilson and Rosales are the only MIs left. I think Kouz made the team already, so it would be Choice/Beltre/Adduci.

I would take a retired MY over Rosales. He fucking sucks. Wilson really isn't any better.

I said this kid will have a chance to make the team next year. I saw him in winter ball. He's a stud.

For right now, I'm all for this. I think MC has done enough to make the team, but he could use the everyday play in AAA, and he's got options.

And you make a very valid observation at the DH position. I sometimes think like "well, we can always DH him" like there's an inordinate amount of ABs there, unlike any other position. Don't know why I do this.

Choice will be and should be on the big league team. He needs 300 PAs and playing time. There will be plenty with Martin not being able to hit lefties.
