Kesler to Colorado for Ryan O'Reilly - I think Canucks fans could get behind that swap.

One Ryan douche for another - It's symmetric, harmonic, salacious, outrageous...

is he a douche (ROR) because he didnt end up signing with your team or some other reason?

Cohos dad was a handful too but i didnt ever throw him (Coho) into the douchebag pile lol

Well, as you remember, he did holdout on the Avs which prompted the ill-advised Feaster offer sheet which the Avs matched. I guess it depends on your point of view, were the Avs being cheap or was ROR being a douche for holding out at the ripe old age of 22?

Edit: Lucky Pierre thinks ROR is a character guy, so maybe it was the Avs being cheap (lol).

Well, remember, that was the old Avs front office with Greg Sherman so it was probably them

Imagine if Sherman would have not matched and the Flames would have had to put ROR on waivers (not to mention giving up a 1st and 3rd round draft pick). Depending on where the Flames finish this season, that could have turned into Sam Bennett or even Sam Reinhart.

DarrenDreger: Like many teams, Leafs called Canucks with interest in Kesler. Understandably, Van is still looking for mammoth return.

210 + Bolland - Torches and pitchforks to follow.

1:46PM: The Rangers are mulling over Ales Hemsky and if they can get him for a third round pick. The Oilers will want a second round pick because they don’t have one. (Sportsnet)
Spector also notes that if the Rangers lose Ryan Callahan may they look at Alex Burrows around the draft. (Sportsnet)

Burrows season has been a total washout ... will be interesting to see if the canucks hold him for next season to see if he regains his form or try and get out of that contract

Maybe it's a good thing I haven't heard much on the Flames front, my hope is that guys like Cammy, Stempniak, and Butler will be dealt before the deadline.

/Of course, maybe Burkie is getting a haircut.

Burrows doesn't interest me, was hoping we'd take a shot on Raymond before he signed with Toronto. Would have liked him over Pouliot, though I liked the Pouliot signing.
