If he wants to retire and become a personal model for me to look at when I feel sad, that'd be great. However, he skates like ice is wet cement. Honestly, I'd be okay with keeping him if Deryk Engelland didn't emerge as a good fourth line big body, thus making Pyatt a bit irrelevant.

I think the dubster can still get a shot as (at least) a backup next season ... the writing was on the wall with Rinne coming back

If the Flyers claim him, could they send him straight to the minors or would they need to put him on waivers again? He and Anthony Stolarz could be a good 1-2 in the AHL next year, maybe he re-gains some confidence down there
