I don't think Winnipeg would want to ruin their current chemistry, but could you potentially see a Kesler for Evander Kane swap? Maybe the Canucks need to sweeten it a little, but that could be a sweet deal for Vancouver.

Another reason I don't think Kesler-Pens is a good idea: he's going to cost a lot of assets for obvious reasons, when the Pens need more than one guy to help that bottom 6 (IMO). Personally, I'd like to get Chris Stewart (has another year on contract, RH, RW, although he is a bit expensive considering his output), and maybe another depth guy (Boyes from FLA? Cheap, good depth pick up, etc.). Just getting those two guys would immediately make the bottom 6 better. Just looking at the lines put out today made me angry. Vitale-Sutter-Pyatt; Glass-Adams-Kobasew. That's horrifying.

I brought up that Edler/Kesler for Kane/Ladd trade but thats Oprah dreaming type stuff because kesler isnt going to winnipeg
