I would imagine if the Flyers make a trade for Kesler it would be Brayden Schenn or Sean Couturier along with Scott Laughton and a 1st round pick - I just don't want to do that if I'm the Flyers - I think Brayden Schenn and Sean Couturier are a huge part of the team up the middle and I'd rather keep Scott Laughton or at least move him for a stud d-man instead of a forward like Kesler - and I just am not the biggest fan of Kesler's attitude either, maybe I'm over reacting but there are certain things I don't like and he just seems like a guy that hasn't come up big enough with Vancouver(and it's not just him there, a lot of guys there don't come up big when it matters most)

That's a lot of term and money for a guy who is 2nd/3rd line player (great third liner or average 2nd). I love the all-around game he brings but if you pay a guy like that you better know that you have offense from other sources.

6 mil per year is closer to his market value though. I could actually see a team giving him that in UFA. I guess he doesn't want to give a hometown discount.
