Backstrom is toast and I wouldn't count on Josh Harding the rest of the season - they need a good complement to Darcy Kuemper who has played really well for them lately

I really did think the Sabres were going to want Jake Allen in any deal for Ryan Miller, but I guess that wasn't the case

St lou prob wanted to keep allen to have that stud in case miller doesnt re-sign

Same here, surprised he wasn't involved. Backstrom sucks, and no shot they go with Keumfer or whatever his name is for the rest of the season. Halak would be a nice addition for them.

Potential targets for BUF if it flips Stewart to OTT: Mark Stone, Matt Puempel, Mark Borowiecki, Fredrik Claesson. Tim Murray knows em all.

Of course, wouldn't it be infinitely more interesting if BUF traded Stewart and Matt Moulson to OTT for a really big haul. Buckle up.

As far as the names go that I can recall having heard mentioned as possibly being on the market, the guy that I like the best is Ehrhoff.
