There's also talk that there could be a three way deal where the Blues get Ryan Miller, Wild get Jaroslav Halak and the Sabres get Jake Allen - that would be the base of the deal obviously, but that makes some sense for all three teams - Wild would have to give up something though and I'm thinking maybe the Blues give up something else too

I wouldn't give up more if I were the Blues. Allen is a talented young goalie. Miller is an UFA to be. I could see the Wild giving up something else though. Maybe the Blues & Wild give up some draft picks.

I wonder if there's any chance in the Blues trying to get both Ryan Miller and Callahan - maybe if they get Ryan Miller by just giving up Jake Allen, they can possibly move Chris Stewart for Callahan?

I hope Cally is dealt to Buffalo for either Moulson straight up or Ott and a prospect or pick.
I think Girardi and Sather will settle on a contract in the next few days. He'll stay here.

The Sabres are already carrying six young (18-23) goalies on their prospects roster: How many more do they need?


... Not that I'd complain about getting Halak

hes played 15 games for the leafs ... so i think the leafs should go for it

Twatwaffle is opining that the Jackets are looking to acquire Christian Erhoff to add D depth and fill in for Tyutin while he recovers from Sochi.

No word on who would be going, but two young D like Erixon and Golubef might do it (IMO).

LOL. Bolland is a great third line C but you don't sign those types of guys to 7 year deals.

I would laugh if little Timmy Erixon was on the move again.

It's almost a certainty. I mean, the starter with the most similar game is out and they call up Prout and not Erixon? Shows where he is on the depth chart. It'll be worse next year with Melart coming to camp with a year of European pro under his belt and Dillon Heatherington having a great year in Junior.

Timmy has impressed me with his maturity as a Jacket, and my daughter will forever love him for how nice he was to her, but he's just not going to get a shot here. Neither is Golubef. Especially if they get another top D talent like Erhoff.
