Well Vanek we all know will be dealt, that's obvious. But him being a NYR fan, I could all but asure that his tweets are in regards to a NYR move shaping up. Whether it's a Cally trade or re-signing, we'll have to wait and see.

Well he said he'd see Vanek moving, but my point was that Vanek wasn't going back to NYR in a Cally trade. My guess when he's talking about some "crazy" move, I think it's Cally that'd go. But him saying crazy is almost frightening...considering what NYR did last year.

Going to be interesting here real soon. Gaborik actually has a NTC (which I didn't know) which he waived in New York to come to Columbus. Now, he has said he wants to be here and really wants to get a deal done with Columbus. He has to chomping at the bit for a few games with Johansen and Horton.

I'd be incredibly sad if Marty went to Philly. That said, I don't see Marty moving considering TBL is a top team in the East. They're going to be adding if anything.

I can't speak for us all, but I don't see why any NYR fan would have a problem with Alfie. I would gladly take him on the Rangers. His shot on the PP would be perfect for us.

But, I don't know if he is the guy Boomer is talking about.

Remember, I've read that this whole contract negotations for these two guys will last the entire 7-10 days, so presumably, something could happen that surprises us or there's a new development in those 7-10 days that we didn't think would be the case now

Here's a wildcard: Kimmo Timonen for Ryan Callahan - obviously the Flyers and Rangers hate each other and while I think Kimmo should be widely respected around the league, I would have to think that would really be a kick in the baby maker for Rangers fans trading Ryan Callahan to the Flyers

Both guys are rentals and Kimmo played in Sochi

EDIT: I know it said it was a forward but things can change

It'd be a good pick up for depth, but not to trade Cally for. I want Cally on the Pens, but I can't even think of an appropriate package to send back. NO MAATTA.
