That made no sense 3 runs behind. He looks like he never did his homework

You're down 3 runs, you need baserunners, not so much 2nd base. Getting picked off there is just dumb baseball

I'm sick of seeing Elvis in a ranger uniform. I'm not spending any more of my money until some changes are made. Top of that list includes dumping Magadan, Elvis, and Choo.

Darryl, I have some faith in Chi Chi to grow and get better, I think Nick wont.
Yeah, I believe that too. But don't think it would have been this year.

Evening Guys, why in the world did they bring Nick back up? Every time I saw him pitch (and I don't think I've missed a game yet), he has stunk it up.

He had 12 quality starts in 16 starts this year, so I don't see how that's even remotely possible

Just don't see how this is a "dicey" situation if he sucks, he's physically capable of pitching, but he's not physically capable of pitching well

I probably didn't explain this well.

Dicey meaning, if Harry wants to keep pitching, there's nothing really we can do about it, other than fight it out with him/Players Union, etc. And that's not gonna serve us well, nor do I see the Rangers even considering going this route.

I'm not arguing your point of "He's not physically capable of pitching well." In fact, I agree completely.

But if he wants to keep trying, still in hope of catching the lightening again, he wouldn't be the first player to keep chasing the dream to no avail.

I'm curious Romeo, who would be your short stop if they traded Elvis?

If Nmart gets a hit in this game, maybe he should be in some lineups in AL parks? May be better than Leonys or Choo, but then again he wouldn't be pitching if he was any good w the bat. Oh well just looking for offense, probably gonna be begging for awhile

We CAN prevent him, DFA him if he wants to play it that way, he can keep trying but everytime he complains of back tightness, DL him, whatever needs to be done

I'm actually sick of Harrison's comeback BS, nice guy but he's misguided I think

Nick doesn't even look like long reliever material at this point.

If chi chi is allowed to pitch in AAA and develop an out pitch he should be fine. Otherwise he's not much better than Nick.

Actually, I see many more similarities than not with these two guys.

Neither one throws heat, nor has another pitch which can be considered an out pitch.

I'd like to see em both down and working to develop this.
