jta, just giving you a hard time, man. I didn't really think it would ever actually happen either. But it looks like barring a last-minute change it will.

I honestly don't care how it affects things this season. I'm going to wait and see how he helps/hurts the 2016 Rangers and possibly beyond before I give my final verdict on the deal.

I was wrong about it going through, but I still disagree about how much sense it makes, this year especially, how often do you see a trade made at the deadline for NEXT season, b/c thats what this was

We have up some damn good prospects. Kept the three I absolutely did not want to trade in any deal, but gave up 4 damn good ones.

4 does seem like a bit much, but assuming Darvish comes back and resumes being a monster Texas has one hell of a rotation now.
