Nope it didn’t. Look at the Eagles roster, by far the most talented in the NFL. They also have an incredibly high percentage of huge deals. The only way that is capable is if you are excelling in the draft.

Barkley did not take less to play for a winner. He is a RB and their careers are already too short. Barkley signed a 3 year, 37.75 mil contract.

No denying that but the graphic shows that the teams at the bottom have won. Barkley wanted the Eagles from Day 1 IMO. Why is that? Are you saying the Eagles were the highest bidder last year in FA?

Again, look at the context of a few of those teams. While Stafford was not drafted by the Rams, he cost them two first rounders. Ramsey was not drafted by the Rams but he cost them two firsts. This is going to lower the success of that graphic but those first rounders were not wasted on trash.

Let me put this in a better context. A first round rookie is a 5 year contract and a second rounder is a 4 year contract…plus a franchise rage so we will go back 5 years for second rounders and 6 for first.

Redskins have had 7 first round picks and only one started in 2024. We have had 6 second rounders and only 3 are starters. That is 4 out of 13 first and second rounders as starters. (30%)

Vikings 2024 first- JJ (was a starter but injured)
2024 first- Dallas Turner (rookie)

2023 first- Jordan Addison (starter)

2022 first- Lewis Kline (nothing)
2022 second- Andrew Booth (cowboy)
2022 second- Ed Ingram (starter)

2021 first- Darrisaw (starter)

2020 first- Justin Jefferson (stud)
2020 first- Jeff Gladney (trouble and died in car accident)
2020 second- Ezra Cleveland (starter)

Dont want Cooper Kupp at his current salary, and certainly not on a trade. Better to wait and see which wrs are released and sign them in free agency then trade away picks or players.
