It was literally a “walk in the park” near the banks of the Mississippi.

Sheeesh...."wild man" Peterson couldn't even get out of the 2nd inning.
Zona loaded the bases and scored 3 runs in the 2nd inning after 2 outs via a walk, a HBP, and another walk.
Gsellman came in and got out # 3....but he then allowed a run in the 3rd. He ended up going 2.1 innings.

Conforto hit a 2 out rbi single in the bottom of the 3rd.
Tommy Hunter has now pitched 2 solid innings for NY.

Mets trail 4-1 mid 6th.
