[Tai Chi≈Surfing]

Mets put up 2 runs out of the gate.....
Villar walked & stole 2B, Lindor doubled him home....
Smith flied out, then Lindor tagged up for 3B and scored on a throwing error.


Stro needs to toss a mandatory shutdown inning in the bottom of the 1st.

Stro allowed a leadoff single, but that was it...thanks in part to Nido gunning that runner down trying to steal 2B w/ 1 out.

Mattingly goes with his 3rd pitcher to begin the top of the 3rd....and the Mets go down 1-2-3.

2-1 Mets....mid 3rd.

Dom Smith drew a 1 out walk...then Nido brought him in w/ an rbi double....

Fargas singled ....and with Nido running all the way w/ 2outs, got thrown out at the plate.

3-1 Mets....mid 4th.

Stro allowed a single in the 4th, although this time it was after getting the 1st out....lol

The inning ended on a DP.....a Stro K and a caught stealing gun down by Nido...(his 2nd in the game)

3-1 Mets after 4.

Also....the Fish are going with their 5th pitcher in as many innings.

Stro buckled down and was pumped after fanning the side in order in the 5th.

3-1 Mets...heading to the *6th.

*and the 6th pitcher for Miami.

Sure would be nice if Maybin could get into a hitting groove sometime soon.

I'm certain this will all end just fine.

But then he dug down and recovered from a 3-1 count to strike out the next batter and leave them loaded.

3-3 tie....heading to the 9th.

To his credit..Familia battled back to get the 3rd out...and kept the game tied at 3-3.
Heading to extra innings.

Nido will be the runner on 2nd....

Mets have 1st & 3rd after Tovar's single...then the HP ump just rang up Drury on a called 3rd off the plate and outside.

Fargas then lined out to 2nd.

How embarrassing and deflating it must be to get picked off 3rd.
