One day it will all make sense
ND is the second.
Georgia had lost by 23 to Auburn in the RS in 17. But they beat Auburn in the SECCG by 21.
Was moreso referring to non conference champs but nice catch

I don’t think Notre Dame should be in the playoff either, it took them double overtime to beat Clemson when they were short the best qb in college football and several defensive starters, then got smoked in the rematch. There is no reason to believe they would do any better in the rubber game unless Lawrence is out again.Notre Dame is the first cfp participant to make the playoffs losing by more than 2 tds.
And they beat the team they lost to
How on any planet could you justify them playing the same team that beat them by 28 points much less making the field having lost by that much.

I don’t think ND can overcome losing to Clemson by 24, but they’re in. That’s a much more recent result, and we are down two starters on offense since the A&M game. But you think TAMU can overcome losing by 28 to Alabama?

How much did ND get smoked by?
24?
24 yes
Did TAMU also have a win against Bama i missed
Well generally speaking they don't have a conference championship game because they aren't in a conference so it is a simple fact. Not something to brag about (not saying you are)...
I enjoyed watching Michigan this season that is for damn sure. It’s always fun to watch ND get smoked.
I would rather play Alabama than Clemson again.I don’t think ND can overcome losing to Clemson by 24, but they’re in. That’s a much more recent result, and we are down two starters on offense since the A&M game.
I’d rather play ND than A&M.
Yes f you liked watching them this year Get comfortable, until we get rid of Harbaugh, it will be rinse and repeat all year longI enjoyed watching Michigan this season that is for damn sure.

Once again simple fact Notre Dame still has access to the playoffs without a conference and I know that irritates some people. I'm guessing you are such a person.Yes this is true.. Still nothing to brag about

Can’t say I blame youI would rather play Alabama than Clemson again.
Its more about the QB, as good as Mac Jones has been this year he is no Trevor Lawrence. He is also a less mobile QB compared to Lawrence which has been an issue for Notre Dame. I still don't expect a win but not having as mobile of a QB to contend with will help. Of course their skill players do present a problem. Can’t say I blame you
