Ok, so scratch the Texas game. LSU has 2 bad defensive efforts and, for arguments sake, Georgia beats LSU. LSU would have the better loss, the better wins (OU has 2 ranked wins (#7 Baylor and #25 Okie State) to LSU's 3 (#9 Florida, #11 Auburn, #12 Alabama)) and much fewer close games with bad opponents. OU has 4 wins by 1 TD with 3 of them coming against unranked opponents, compared to LSU's 3 wins by 1 TD with 2 of them coming against teams in the top 12 (Auburn and Alabama). LSU has scored over 50 points in 6 games this season while OU has scored over 50 points three times. OU's defense has allowed at least 2 TDs in each game while LSU's defense held 3 teams to 1 TD or under.

In my opinion, there's no reality that tells me that Oklahoma deserves to be in the playoff over LSU. Oklahoma is a great team and obviously deserving of being in playoff discussions, I just think they will need Georgia and probably Utah to lose in order to have an actual shot at getting in the playoff.
I think it's as simple as how much they value CCG winners. Not that big a deal, LSU is in. If it matters when at least somewhat close OU goes.

Actually OU would have three ranked wins - Baylor x2 and Okie State. Baylor is likely going to finish below Florida if they lose, but not by much, while probably being ahead of Baylor and Alabama (I don't see the committee dropping them 6 spots).

I'm not saying I think Oklahoma is a better team, but I think they are both very close teams based on SOS and team stats. The main point is that the committee has said they value conference titles when comparing two similar teams, so that would go Oklahoma's way in this scenario. I also think if they win, they jump Utah unless OU barely squeaks by Baylor and Utah absolutely destroys Oregon.
Agree. Haven't double checked so cannot be positive accurate....

Anybody know what's Clemson chances at getting into the Peach bowl in Atlanta? What scenario should l root for to make this happen?
Ticket prices are not too crazy as of now

We aren't even going to the Cotton Bowl...UF is rated higher. Citrus Bowl here we come....Which I'm cool with as I live close.
Citrus or Outback would both be awesome!

Would think if LSU first they'd take the Peach which would knock Clemson out

So I'd think Clemson would hope for OSU to get first and they likely go with the Fiesta

Was my original thought but not so sure. If they play Oklahoma, Baylor or Utah would think might as well stay closer and go to Atlanta.

People get to caught up in "best loss". Sure who you lost to is a criteria you should look at but its no more important than who you beat, your SoS, if you won your league.

At some point id like to see the committee reward a 1 loss team with a better resume ahead of an unbeaten or a 2 loss team ahead of a 1 loss

Having 1 extra loss shouldnt be a disqualifier IF your resume is still better overall.

True guess I'm thinking Ohio states history with the Fiesta

And that is something that makes me think they might still choose Fiesta. Just wonder who is still around with the familiarity with Fiesta and the area.

No doubt if it's an SEC or ACC opponent they'd want Fiesta.

1. LSU will be #1 after the CCGs.
2. The B12 Champ will be on the CCG over Utah (Baylor will have beat every team in their schedule including a final win over OU).
3. you have OU winning the B12 in your top post, then going to Cotton and not Sugar. So, you don’t even know how the tie-ins work

1. No they won’t.

2. No it won’t if it’s baylor you dumbfuck.

3. No I don’t. I have Baylor winning the b12 you simple bitch. This is why you need to concentrate on leading with the head instead of sticking your head up your ass.

I think its entirely possible Baylor jumps Utah if both win this week

I mean Baylor would have the better loss, more ranked wins, similar SoS, more +.500 wins.

Utah being at 5 is odd to me. Their resume currently is not better than OUs or Baylors so they have to be at 5 based on eye test i guess? Anyway i think itd be close between Utah and Baylor and may come down to who looks better. OU SHOULD jump Utah but they should already be ahead of Utah so who knows

I messed by 3. I knew that when I did it but was too late to edit. But the rest is correct.

If they lose big, I could see it happen. It isn't like this has been a completely dominant team this year. If they lose, that leaves Ohio State, Clemson, and UGA as locks. If OU beats Baylor big, which I think is very possible, how are you going to leave out OU when they're going to have a similar SOS, the same record, and a conference championship? Also, the committee has shown they don't have the extreme SEC bias like what you see in the AP/Coaches polls, and I'm sure they would love to have a playoff that is comprised of only conference champs if they have the chance to.

A similar schedule? What are you smoking? LSU beat Florida, Alabama, Auburn and blasted TA&M by 40.

There is SEC bias for a reason. Where would Oklahoma finish in the SEC West? My guess would be 4th or possibly even 5th.

First off, Oklahoma's SOS is 22nd and LSU's is 25th.

Secondly, you don't watch college football. That much is clear. I won't even bother addressing your second part, it possibly the worst sports take I've seen in years.
