Even though my thoughts specifically were based on the NFL appealing for lie 1. Lie 2 he inadvertently admitted the lie without admitting he lied by saying I throw in "could".

He lied and got caught. I hope you get paid for trying to defend the indefensible.
Still not a lie.
Wrong? Fine, but not a lie.

It can be both and it is. Hell, he wont even own up to being wrong. You are even trying to defend him for being wrong/lying. Are you at least on payroll?

If I claimed you said Baker is a clear, #1 elite starting QB and the Browns never should have parted with him I'd say I was wrong and lied.

Hope you are right...but my guess is it drags into next week.
Looks like you were right.

Because there was no ruling, Watson, not Brissett, is getting first-team reps.

All of those teams make less sense. Raiders probably keep Carr considering they have all new coaching staff. Browns are committed to Mayfield one more year.
Didn't age well, Shane.

Browns QB Deshaun Watson's lawyer, Rusty Hardin, expects the NFL to make its decision on a suspension for Watson by June or July.

Watson is expected to meet with the NFL a second time after being interviewed for multiple days earlier this week. A decision on a suspension next month would likely be a best case scenario for both Watson and the Browns given the still pending 22 civil lawsuits against Watson. The league could wait until more resolution on Watson's legal situation to hand down discipline. Hardin said “no settlement talks are in the offing” in the civil suits with Watson

BS Sports' Josina Anderson reports NFL Disciplinary Officer Sue Robinson is expected to announce her decision on Deshaun Watson's potential suspension "by some time Monday".

This lines up with a previous report that said the ruling would be delivered early in the week. ProFootballTalk's Mike Florio has stated that the Browns are bracing for an eight-game suspension. If that turns out to be correct, Cleveland would likely stick with backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett as their starter until Watson returns. Brissett is your run-of-the-mill journeyman, averaging 6.4 yards per attempt at a 60 percent completion rate throughout his career. The Browns will hide him behind their prolific running game if he is forced to take the field.
