I have/had a Playstation account for years. I bought a ps4 on launch day and still played a bit. By the time the ps5 came out I played games maybe a couple times a month. But my son started getting into gaming and played everything on my account.
Now years later he has pretty much taken over my account. All his friends are on there. The once or twice lately I've even gotten on to play a game his friends send constant requests and messages and stuff. Plus he has dozens of games.
But he's turning 18 and wants to move out, and my next contract for my work is all the way across the country. And I wanted to play some video games that I bought years ago when I'm in a strange city with no friends or family around.
Basically is it possible to move games that I own on "my" account to a different account? Or something similar? We'll be 2000+ miles apart. It seems strange that we wouldn't both be able to play games at the same time. But I guess it would also be strange if we could continue sharing games if we're 2000 miles apart. For the record the only game that we both play is baldurs gate. But im like 20 hours into it despite buying it at launch. He's beat it several time and I'm not sure he even plays it at all anymore. Other than that we play separate genres so losing access to games shouldn't be a problem. He also has his own ps5 at his mom's. So he'll just take that one to his new place.
