Few other cuts around the league

Raiders WR John Brown
Eagles WR John Hightower
Titans 4th round pick Dez Fitzpatrick This was a guy that surprised me going in Round 4. 6th rd pick Racey McMath beat him out.
Dolphins LB Shaquem Griffin (Missing a hand if you recall who this is)
Charger K Michael Badgley
Lions K's Zane Gonzalez and Randy Bullock (maybe they are signing Badgley or Folk)
Eagles RB Jordan Howed
Bengals DT Mike Daniels
Steelers HBack- Jaylen Samuels
Ravens QB Trace McSorley
Jaguars WR Collin Johnson
Bears CB Desmond Trufant
Raiders S Karl Joseph

The great thing about the NFL today and all the new PS rules is many of these guys cut today will end up on rosters tomorrow and with all the injuries in the NFL tons and tons of these guys cut today will show up elsewhere. NFL cutdown day is always a sad day for many but you have to remain hopeful because the odds are in your favor you will end up somewhere else this year. If not tomorrow, soon.

I love how much the PS has expanded and the rules that have changed with the PS... Remember not too long ago the PS was a 5 man PS of players who basically couldn't have played more then 5 games and only be on a PS for two years. We then went from 5 to 7 to 8 to 10 to 15 to 16.... That is a lot of extra employment around the NFL for people to keep their dream alive. Anymore I feel like if you are on the PS you have essentially made the team. PS turns over a lot throughout the season but more players have more opportunity then ever before because of the expansion of it.

You know I was hoping for a little McMath on the waiver wire.

Thanks, Scott, for keeping those of us not as astute about the lower level roster spots informed. Appreciated.
Yes - Scott will always be there to scrape the bottom for us.

I am like the garbage disposal. I do all the dirty work around here.
You're like the garbage disposal when you get stuck on yourself. ;)

Is that the way garbage disposal work in Texas? We here in Iowa have nice running garbage disposal. ;)

Texans cut Keke Coutee. :( WR I have always liked.
Bills Isiah Hodgins another WR I have always liked. Was a stud in college but speed is going to get him in the NFL.
9ers waived Wayne Gallman another player I always liked.
Cardinals waive CB Daryl Worley another player I have always liked.

I leave my computer for 5 minutes and all of this happens???

Brian Hoyer cut by the Patriots. Probably re-sign him. Seems like the Patriots do this a lot with vets to not guarantee their contracts.

Malcolm Butler placed on the retired list but sounds like it may not be a permanent retire.

Paton said Denver would likely sign 3 WR's to the PS. Have to think Cleveland, Seth Williams and either some other WR cut that he likes or maybe Kendall Hinton finds his way onto the PS again. Pierson-El could perhaps be the 3rd too. I think many fans think it is crazy all the WR's and we only kept 5 and not 6 but when you have 2-3 you like on your PS it is basically the same thing because the 6th WR is going to be inactive anyway.

This dude passes the eyeball test for an NFL defender. I don’t buy jerseys, but I would buy his.

I can hook you up with that Cooper jersey. :)

Thing about Cooper. He gives 100% effort on EVERY play. He knew being a 7th round pick that he had to give every ounce he had and he played the same way in college. Effort translates into making plays. He may not be the most naturally gifted player but he is going to play in the NFL for a very long time based on effort. Just like Malik Reed and Andre Mitze. It's the effort they give. Great motors.

McTelvin Agim was probably drafted a round or two earlier then he should have been based on effort/motor alone.

Patriots cut former Broncos TE Matt Lacosse.

Brings back the many years memory of having crap at TE in Denver.
