About to hit the 5th round where the Bears have four picks, including the first of the round. I suspect more trade back/trade up activity from Poles in the 5th.

Guess that 1st pick of the 5th was part of the trade with the Jags for moving up and taking Tyrique Stevenson. Can't tell a draft position without a scorecard.

Noah Sewell, LB, Oregon -at first glance this seems like a value pick here

Terell Smith, CB, Minnesota - Another decent value pick. Nice blend of size, speed, and strength. Obviously STs material, but he could provide some insurance in the secondary if injuries begin popping up. Drafted as a CB, but it wouldn't surprise me if he's worked in with the safeties.

Looks like it will be a while before we're back on the clock. No 6th round pick. In summation to this point, I'm rather pleased with our day 3 picks so far. Some good values here. No center yet for Jiddy and it looks like there might not be an Edge taken, which begs the question.....is Yannick Ngakoue still on the Bears radar?

Quick update. Not sure how it happened, but for whatever reason, the Bears apparently no longer have pick #218, the 1st pick of the 7th round. Too lazy to research as to why, altho it looks like it ended up with the Chiefs. Bottom line, all we have remaining is the supplemental pick in the 7th, #258. We'll find our superstar there.

And on a sadder note, Jiddy loses his center. Wypler was taken by the Browns.

Our defensive line still sucks. We're not going to be anywhere near the top 5 in sacks with this group of clowns. For the first time in a long time we will rely on the offense to carry this team.

Obviously in formal camp when the helmets and pads are on is when we'll see what this draft class brings to the table. But at least we haven't read anything negative about any of them and the even better news is there hasn't been any major injuries reported out of the OTAs. We'll likely be as healthy as a team can be when camp formally opens up next month.
