All the local media guys have no doubt. It’s in the bag. We’d have to basically win out or only lose 1 more game at worst and come on now. We’re losing minimum 3-4 of our remaining games. Most likely more.

I've seen too much bullshit from this franchise over the years to believe anything the media says.

All logic said dump him last year and they didn't. Even though 31 out of 32 teams in the league would have.

I've seen them run it back with Nagy and Pace before when it was clear it was time to dump them.

I saw the Trestman years.

And even when they do cut Eberlose....I don't trust them to make the right hire anyway.

I know emotions are raw but i was encouraged. Looks like the new OC had the offense on the same page. Players played better too.

Another blown lead by Eberflus in the last 5 minutes. :mad2:

Checked... from my calculations Flus is 6-19 in games that were within one score in the 4th quarter.

Checks out

Players played better, but having a head coach that is looking for that dagger with over a minute left and we just watch the clock tick tick away makes it where it does not matter how good this team can be. They just got a first down, they were driving, just keep playing the game not worrying about the fudge having too much time left. Routes to the end zone when the fudge were playing run defense, either throw to an open receiver or the fans in the front row.

Olin was talking about not running another play, complaining Roshon did a jump cut in the backfield and almost lost 3 yards on the one play they ran. He said a running back cannot do that. But then he said the fudge pushed the oline 3 yards deep in the backfield so there was no possible way Ro was getting to the line of scrimmage without that cut. So I get dont just run the ball again, so why not throw it. The only reason I say they did not do it is they did not want the golden boy to make a mistake that ends up losing what he gained yesterday.

I have watched alot of football, and it has been years since teams kept 240 pound long snappers on the team because they are supposed to not get pancaked anymore. The fudge did not care, penalty and they rekick anyway. Same way all the late hits out of bounds did not bother them when the game started. Thats killer instinct, those are daggers.

Caleb had nothing to do with winning his first game in Soldiers Field, he could have had everything to do with being the first guy in almost 6 years to beat the fudge.

Yeah, he looked pretty good overall today and has shown flashes of upside throughout the season.

Still would have taken Daniels but Caleb can certainly be a good one.
Play calling was much better... Getting the ball out almost 1 second faster really cut down on the sack problem. Looks, for now, like firing Waldron was a good move.

And yet his D is still performing well enough for any descent offensive compliment to win, and frankly, besides two fluke plays, should have a completely different outlook right now.

I swear the football gods, along with the zebras hate the Bears.

Should've been two personal fouls called on the kick. He not only contacted the snapper with his head down, he then used the back of his head for leverage.

You are not wrong. Especially since the Bears have been penalized for that once already this season.

Contracting the Bears out of the league should be the priority, or moving the team to Albuquerque.
The Albuquerque Bears? Just doesn't have that ring to it. Plus Albuquerque is so friggin hard to spell.
But I have to say it would be a lot closer to my home here in Sin City than it is now.

You'd change the name "Bears" as well to rid everyone of the stink. The Albuquerque Armadillos.

Glad I was not the only one who saw it. Its even worse when you see what happened to Daly at the snap. I guess the point of emphasis is just watching two tackles lined up wrong and moving before the ball is snapped.

read that the bears were sending tape to the NFL offices regarding the not called penalties on the final play.

What happens? Get an explanation that they missed it, sorry about that? Line up for a 31 yarder at lambeau before the game starts?
