Thought I would see a combine thread here, I know some of us don't like straying away from the CFB board to talk about stuff..

Just watched some QB and WR workouts, and I swear it seemed like Connor Shaw overthrew almost every pass.

I was watching Logan Thomas, he had a good first throw, overthrew the second and underthrew the third. He has no consistency.

Though they did just announce he was the fastest QB with a 4.61 official 40 time.

I said before that the combine would be his downfall. Aggy had him listed at 6'1 210lbs. He measured at 5'11 207lbs. He did run a good 40 time (4.5), though, however, the one thing that is the most important for a QB at the combine is the arm. I said once he threw at the combine, his stock would drop. Well, now we know why he won't throw. Still, I hope the Texans are dumb enough to draft him #1 overall; it's always a good thing when Houston teams suck!

Sammy only ran a 4.34. I was surprised to say the least. I thought he'd be right there with the fastest of the group at 4.30.

Bridgewater didn't throw either it's not a new thing. Johnny will throw for scouts on March 27 in College Station. He has the arm to be a qb in the NFL and he's been working with QB Guru George Whitfield and his staff out in California since late January
