Seems like we are down to plan 5 or 6.

I think Johnson screwed up the whole process. If we were flying to him, that tells me we were serious.

We basically wasted a lot of time on a candidate who never wanted to coach here.

Call it bad strategy or bad luck...it happened.

I hope peters makes a good pick but this is his first rodeo hiring a head coach.

I am pulling for him and wishing for the best. I cannot say with 100% certainty that the pick will be a good one.

He is not a seasoned GM. That is incorrect.

This is his first time going through this as the decision maker.

That is probably true with peters.
I agree no beat writer has hired anyone. I agree.

What I think we both agree on is that this is NOT how peters envisioned the search going and that Quinn was clearly not his first choice for the job.

no. I have no idea who Peters first choice was or where Dan was on the pecking order. But yesterdays interview with Dan was his third and was schedule before Johnson backed out. So clearly Dan is on Peters radar.
