Yes. I’ve showed the report in the past. The chiefs were done with EB. They couldn’t wait to get him out of thereActually, he and mahomes did have issues In 2022. It was reported back then. Andy Reid had to step in.

Yet eb is winning the poll of who our next HC should be.Yes. I’ve showed the report in the past. The chiefs were done with EB. They couldn’t wait to get him out of there
Who cares about a stupid poll of Us. Most of us don’t know our head from our ass when it comes to football.Yet eb is winning the poll of who our next HC should be.
I have asked why and have received no answer. I guess howell leading the league in pass attempts is sufficient enough for some. The numbers show that we are marginally better than last year...smh

You mean our fanbase isn't comprised of geniuses?Who cares about a stupid poll of Us. Most of us don’t know our head from our ass when it comes to football.
I agree that the data doesn't tell the full story...it does serve as a baseline for what eb has done though. Why would any first time coach be given the opportunity? I like EB because the little things matter and he doesn’t allow the players to run the team. He holds the players accountable.
Also, while EB does call a greater percentage of pass plays, it is only 1% more than Cincy and 10% more than the Rams who are at 16.
As for the marginally better numbers, that is debatable as well. In 2022, we averaged 18.9 and this season we are 20.5. That is more than 1.5 points in difference. Yards are 343.8 this season and last was 330.3.
Now consider, Washington has been sacked 55 times and lost 375 yards in 12 games. That is 31 yards per game against us. In 2022, we were sacked 48 times and lost only 311 yards which is 18 yards per game. So the real yardage difference per game is 28 YPG. This OL is the worst OL in history. Getting sacked has killed too many drives this season to see the growth you expected. The OL is not EB fault.
We have been called for 9 holding penalties this season, 11 all last season. 13 false starts this season and 17 last.

My point is that we have another cult of personality figure here with eb per the poll in question and general comments on here. If eb had a top 10 offense, I can see that, but he doesn't. He is leading a below average offense. We are either 20th or 21st in points per game.
Again, one poster liked eb so much he wanted to grant him GM duties.
Two posters are so impressed with eb that they want harris to personally intervene and promoted eb on Black Monday without interviewing any candidates. To me, these are absurd ideas and goes back to the eb worshipping.
I think eb has done an ok job, but I don't think he should be the unquestioned #1 candidate for our next HC. Especially if it means that harris took over the search and forced this hire without doing any research
According to folks in kc, eb did nothing but carry out orders from Reid. Having lived there, that was the story.EB had a top ten offense for a few years in KC…as a matter of fact, a SB winning offense that was annually top three depending on metric. I know, sure it was all Andy Reid…except this season where the Chiefs are 8 in yards and 11 in points while looking extremely beatable all season.

Mahomes needs receivers...that is for sure. I am confident that eb is not missed at all by Reid and company. Local radio and beat writers don't even mention him anymore.
Yes their fans and their beat writers/local radio. They know more about their situation than commanders fans.According to whom? Fans do not know anything. There is far more to being an OC than calling plays.
So what receiver was so important that Mahomes cannot overcome losing? Are you saying JSS was that important? Maybe it was Wylie.
The evidence suggests EB is missed whether some want to admit it or not.
Yes their fans and their beat writers/local radio. They know more about their situation than commanders fans.
Just like us and our best writers/local radio know more about the commanders than the average chiefs fan.
Maybe JSS was his guy...clearly valdez scantling isnt the guy as he drops a wide open td with the philly game on the line.
I am not a chiefs fan and as i have said often, i dont care for them. Ask them if you want to know about it. I am sure they would love to have a commanders fan call in and tell them about their team.
Again, I am not going to argue about the attitude and beliefs of kc chiefs fans....ask them about.
Never got a long with the kc faithful. They really do not regarding this matter. People who give EB no credit are just being emotional.

if mccarty gets fired i look for quinn to be named head coach.Pass on Quinn. No defensive head coaches.
Its an offensive league.
That being said, Quinn is doing yeoman’s work with the Cowboys.
He should stay there and continue to figure out new ways to deploy Parsons.
i,ve played it and watched enough in 50 plus years, but i would be totally lost getting grown men to understand it professionally.Who cares about a stupid poll of Us. Most of us don’t know our head from our ass when it comes to football.
