I think our fans are going to micro-analyze his performance way too much this coming week. Neither team attempted any long passes for much of the game and Seattle normally feasts on some of those down field throws. Add that Harvin was taken out twice and Tate was nearly knocked out and it was clear their defense was going to be very physical and simply took our receivers out of the game for most of it.

I don't put anything on Wilson for the low offensive numbers.

Exactly he took what the defense gave him, did he miss some throws? Yes. But he didn't turn over the ball.

I have faith in this team, a win is a win regardless of how it happens, and one thing I learned playing the game of football is that this game has no bearing on the next!

I do agree with that and I don't want rain on the parade so I won't talk about my worries again in this thread. I'll still be rooting just as hard for the Seahawks next weekend. GO SEAHAWKS!!

The spread was at 8.5 most of the week.

And I warned those of you who had real vCash to lose to bet on the money line instead of the spread. I put mine on the spread, but it was only 50 so why not? I wouldn't have put 1000 or more on the spread. No way. 8.5 is crazy in tough weather. Not a chance I'd have bet that way.

It gotta be troubling to Seattle fans that they have not had a good offensive performance in the last 5 games.

They can win next week probably scoring 20 points BUT if you go to the SB and match up with Denver, you will need at least 24 points if not more to win

I'm not too concerned with the running game, but our pass O has been terrible on 3rd downs for awhile. The defense can't keep bailing them out being on the field so damn much.

I'm sure most of us are still concerned over the lack of effective offensive performances. We were supposed to see a more rested and healthy line and they were still garbage if you ask me. Of course we will worry in the next game, forget about the SB.

I see the NFCCG as a 12-9 kind of game. all 3 teams left have the toughest defenses in the conference. No one is going to score over 20 for sure, and only way either reaches 15 is on turnovers.

The run game isn't the problem....Wilson is as the last time he played a good game was the first meeting with the Saints.

He only attempted 18 passes in the whole game. The team didn't ask for him to do more. Some of that was the bad weather all day and some of that was having an early lead and playing conservative. I'm concerned about the lines pass protection, but not worried even a little bit about Wilson. He is just fine.

You can't blame a QB for lack of production when he isn't asked to do so.

The weather was a big part of it. Even the mighty Brees didn't light up the stat sheet. Most of the numbers he put up were near the end when they were in desperation mode. Neither QB was spectacular and one will be a HOFer.

Yeah, it is real troubling. The Seahawks are still in the playoffs, not so much for the Saints.:suds:
The defenses we have played recently are pretty good.
When you have a GREAT defense, and you have the lead, you can be conservative.
Yes, Bevell is too conservative IMO.

Who else is happy that they can spend the rest of the weekend relaxing and enjoying football?

Once Harvin went out, the O went very flat. Where was Lockette today?
