So the entire NFC South as soon as Brady comes back lol
I am sad.Baker Mayfield will be a starting QB in the league for the foreseeable future, I am confident of that.
It is about bc of Haslem, he pushed the Watson idea and we wonder why this franchise has been shit for decadesI am sad.
I want Baker. He had a bad year when he was injured. He is not as talented as Watson. We all know that
Radio personalities have been comparing Kareem Hunt to Watson--- saying well one guy did some bad stuff- people forget it.
Its a huge difference in my eyes. Kareem Hunt was a 22 year old kid who had a bad night when he was drunk and some crazy hoe dropped N bombs at him.
22 different woman are accusing Watson. 22.
Baker was amazing in the community. Always gave everything he had.
Its a sad day
chances are we dont even get Watson and we just alienated Baker.
its pathetic.
There have been some low points as a Browns fan but this is among the lowest ones- if not the lowest. Shadeball Jimmy Haslem that cheated a bunch of truckers is trying to take a short cut.
fucking pathetic.

Why are you guys concerned about the feelings of a QB who is in the bottom third of league starters? I don’t know how it isn’t abundantly clear that a Watson at QB is a distinctive upgrade. Professional athletes need to know the game. Teams should always be looking to improve and Watson has the talent to change a team’s trajectory. Why would you lobby for a franchise to not explore that because it would hurt the confidence level of a mediocre QB?It is about bc of Haslem, he pushed the Watson idea and we wonder why this franchise has been shit for decades

Is he a franchise caliber QB though? He’s been around for a bit. If he was that guy it would be evident by now. Cleveland is in the final 3. And is clearly a better spot than Carolina who is also in the Final 3.I would say it's about knowing that stars with choices tend not to pick cities like Cleveland. So they risk alienating their current franchise quality QB by so publicly going after a QB that they are unlikely to get anyway.
It might be different if Watson didn't have a NTC and the Texans could just take the best offer.
Because Watson is a scumbag. Why are you guys concerned about the feelings of a QB who is in the bottom third of league starters? I think the history of the QB position in Cleveland has been so horrid that you’re now overvaluing a mediocre QB that will never win big. Mayfield is a competent NFL starter. He’s never claiming a Bye and winning a Super Bowl.Because Watson is a scumbag.
And Baker- when healthy- can definitely be a good QB. Baker wont be the best of the best- but he can be very good. Last year he was injured, he missed weeks with Covid, the offensive line fell apart health wise- OBJ quit and Landry got hurt. It was a disaster all around- and they still went 8-9. They got positively fucked in the Green Bay and Chargers games with insanely bad calls.
the Green Bay game is interesting. Baker had some great throws but threw a ton of pics. He was playing behind a make shift line with shit WR's. He had not practiced in 2 weeks. He flew up by himself the day of the game because he had been in covid isolation and just got out of covid protocols. He had a fractured shoulder and torn labrum
and the Browns came down to a bad call of possibly beating Green Bay in Lambeau.
I dont want to give up 3 first rounders and Greg Newsome for some scumbag making 40 million a year who the last year he played led his team to a 4-12 record.
I'm not concerned at all actually. I like Baker but after seeing him from 4 years I knew it was time to move on and upgrade. Do I want Watson? From a talent standpoint that would be awesome but it's hard rooting for the guy.Why are you guys concerned about the feelings of a QB who is in the bottom third of league starters? The offer is supposedly 2 or 3 1st's or whatever they get for Baker after shipping him to a 3rd team like Indy + Newsome or Ward + HuntBecause Watson is a scumbag.

I hear that. At the same time, dude maintains his innocence and there are no criminal charges. It’s not like this is an open and shut indefensible situation. Gun to my head? He’s probably the asshole he projects to be. But dude has enough of that all important plausible deniability because of no criminal charges.I'm not concerned at all actually.
