And not once have I said a QB wins games all by himself. You're saying that.

Seriously find the exact comment of mine where I said QB's win games by themselves.

This is your opportunity to back you bullshit if. Because if you don't you know what that means.
By saying Mayfield has a better winning %, you're basically saying the QB wins it by himself.....you're hilarious.

Why you being so stupidly stubborn? I listed their W/L record through 4 seasons.

All I said was Mayfield has a better winning percentage and more wins. ** <-- is that wrong? answer the question, you won't though

You never back anything up you incorrectly say. Find the comment where I ever said Mayfield > Carr. You won't though as usual.

** = pay attention to the fact Mayfield has the better winning percentage through 4 years because that's all I'm saying, never once said he was better

And if you pay attention.....I listed why THE BROWNS (not Mayfield) had a better winning percentage.....because their running game and defense was better.

No QB accumulates playoff wins, the team does. Since there are 22 starters on offense and defense.

In 2014 the Raiders allowed the 32nd most ppg in the League.
In 2015 they were 22nd.
In 2016 they were 20th.
In 2017 they were 20th,

That isn't good. And they didn't have a good running game either.

In 2014 they were 32nd in running the ball.
2015=28th.
2016=6th.
2017=25th.

The Browns?

In 2018 (Mayfield's rookie season) they allowed 21st most ppg in the League.
In 2019 they were 20th.
In 2020 they were 21st.
In 2021 they were 13th.

Let's look at the Browns running the ball.....

2018=14th.
2019=12th
2020=3rd
2021=4th

You lose. No QB can win games by themself.
Since you missed it the first time @Wamu

So the Browns having a better D and running game is the reason why Carr only has two winning seasons in eight years? Very interesting.

I didn't miss it the first time @DJ.

You gonna watch the Nuggets/76ers game tonight? Should be a good one.

And how bout those Lakers?

We can go back and forth on this topic until tip off. But I'll continue to say what I've been saying. Mayfield had a better first four years than Carr. And the numbers back that up. I'm not saying anything other than that.

I truly have no idea if what I found is accurate or not. I typed in- Kirk Cousins record vs. winning teams & 3-37 popped up. Did the same thing for Dak. And 14-20 popped up. Looks like Mayfield's 6-14.

But Dak's 53-32. 21 game above .500 is a pretty good record. Cousins is average at best with a 59-59-2 record.

Looking at Dak's stats he does have a playoff win in '18.

But back to Mayfield. I don't think another QB in the league has as much to prove as he does this upcoming season.

With the right players around him he can be more than just an average. Here's why I say that. You know all this stuff but wanna list it anyway.

-his rookie year took a team that won 3 games in 2 years & went 6-7

-then ends up with fratboy Freddie as a coach and has a sophomore slump

-with a competent HC he gets the Browns in the playoffs & won a game (OBJ got injured what week 6 or 7 & didn't return?)

-then last season injuries kicked his ass & he tried to play through them with terrible results
My bad. Forgot he beat Seattle.

and, yes, those are things folks tend to forget...the situation Baker walked into. 0-16 and 1-31. Guys like allen and LJ joined playoff teams. Dak's team a year removed from playoffs since Romo missed most of 2015 season.

Barring another injury to himself I suspect the FO will help enough where Baker will have no excuses should he remain the #1 guy in 2022.

Somebody told me winning percentage for a QB is due to the QB and Trubs has a .580 winning percentage.

Better than Carr and Mayfield....I know the answer but want to know what people think.
as I'm sure you've figured out, winning % matters if it supports the person's case. Irrelevant if it does not.

Trade for Watson?
IF my team does not believe in Baker, I'm not so sure I wouldn't prefer going after Carr considering it would cost so much less than it would to acquire watson.

But I trust this FO no matter what they do at QB...for now.

Trade for Watson?

Seattle doesn't have enough to actually get him. They aren't as bad off as the Lakers when it comes to tradeable assets, but they aren't far off from that. lol

Even if they did, I don't think they'd have much to offer him as far as weapons. If they could have traded Russell Wilson for him...that might have worked.

So based on winning percentage......Trubs is better than both.....LOL.

Through his first 4 years as starter.

Wait and see what Trubs really is. He had a poor situation in Chicago under a coaching staff that didn't want him. He could slot in with the Steelers quite nicely (they already have the requisite RB and receivers in place) and are working to upgrade their OL. His OC with the Bills wanted to bring him to the Giants, but understandingly lost him to a starting job with the Steelers.

Trubs isn't dissimilar to Baker if he had been cut loose after this past season and found a new team that believed in him.

Actually, they have that draft capital they just got from the Russ trade. They have Fant and two solid WRs and some RB options. OL is still a work in process though.

I wonder if the Commies will be upset they blew trade assets on a QB before the Watson legal news, unless he was unwilling to go there. I don't think the market was that hot for Wentz that they had to act so quickly.
