USC is gonna be a team to be reckoned with as a #7 seed.

Meh, I don't know. They have had a tendency to play up up or down to their competition which has led to a lot of unnecessarily close games. They don't give themselves much room for error and I think that was catching up to them at the end of the season. Including the pac tournament, they lost 3 of their last 4 games.

Maybe they pick up their play in the tournament...but I'll be surprised if they stick around as long as they did last year.

Next year they should be a very interesting team. I read that they have something like the #6 ranked ranked recruiting class in the nation coming in. I don't think they've ever been ranked that high before.

I think they can make it to the Sweet 16 possibly.

Few years ago they had a really good one.

That’s unbelievably stupid. No player is qualified to pick a coach.

I don't know about that.

While I don't believe that allowing the player to pick the coach, or even have final say is good, I think it depends on the player and why they are picking that coach. Is it because that coach brings what the team needs...or because the player just likes that coach personally?

Either way, there should be some input because you want your QB and head coach to be on the same age. Otherwise, you get what we've seen in Seattle for the past couple of seasons.

They also are going to eliminate the shift starting next year. No value in hitting it the other way and getting on base I guess. Keep swinging as hard as you can and keep striking out.

Part of the extra strikeouts were due to teams trying to hit over the shift

It’s all about bat speed now, you know in case you get lucky and hit it. It’s not watchable anymore.

Anticipated story from this upcoming Fall: Cooper reportedly at odds with Browns over role and targets.

One of Cooper's family members has already gone to the social medias blasting Mayfield & the coaching staff.

Cooper called Dak Prescott the Black Kirk Cousins. He's gotta be psyched now to be catching passes from a guy who isn't as good as Dak or Cousins ha.

Yeah I saw the other day Cooper said that. Nobody in their right mind would ever say Mayfield > Dak.

Pump the breaks on Cousins though. His record vs. + .500 teams is about 7-37. He isn't good. But picking between Mayfield & Cousins is like trying to decide which pile of trash smells better.
