Yeah I saw the other day Cooper said that. Nobody in their right mind would ever say Mayfield > Dak.

Pump the breaks on Cousins though. His record vs. + .500 teams is about 7-37. He isn't good. But picking between Mayfield & Cousins is like trying to decide which pile of trash smells better.
Agree on Cousins and still wouldn't hesitate to pick Cousins over Mayfield.

seems like Dak is better but as you point out (not sure if those are the real #s, but it is true) he's pretty bad against good teams. Baker also has a playoff win while Dak does not....did it without a #1 receiver and an awful defense.

Prescott is 1-3 in the playoffs.

I truly have no idea if what I found is accurate or not. I typed in- Kirk Cousins record vs. winning teams & 3-37 popped up. Did the same thing for Dak. And 14-20 popped up. Looks like Mayfield's 6-14.

But Dak's 53-32. 21 game above .500 is a pretty good record. Cousins is average at best with a 59-59-2 record.

Looking at Dak's stats he does have a playoff win in '18.

But back to Mayfield. I don't think another QB in the league has as much to prove as he does this upcoming season.

With the right players around him he can be more than just an average. Here's why I say that. You know all this stuff but wanna list it anyway.

-his rookie year took a team that won 3 games in 2 years & went 6-7

-then ends up with fratboy Freddie as a coach and has a sophomore slump

-with a competent HC he gets the Browns in the playoffs & won a game (OBJ got injured what week 6 or 7 & didn't return?)

-then last season injuries kicked his ass & he tried to play through them with terrible results

Open question for people in here.......is Trubisky a better QB than Carr and Mayfield?

Somebody told me winning percentage for a QB is due to the QB and Trubs has a .580 winning percentage.

Better than Carr and Mayfield....I know the answer but want to know what people think.

I think he is probably more talented than Carr, but I think Carr is the better QB right now.

He's also more talented than Baker, but I can't say if I think he's better right now because I don't think we've seen enough of Baker when he's healthy and has a grown up coaching him to be able to say.

I didn't say that at all. You're saying that. I was only comparing Mayfield & Carr's numbers through their first four seasons. And the numbers don't lie. But it's funny how you always have excuses for why Carr only has 2 winning seasons in 8 years.

I was busting your balls because you always take shots at my team. But when I say anything about your team it's somehow an issue. You can dish it out, but you can't take it.

And what I said wasn't wrong. Through the same point of their careers Mayfield had a better record and a playoff win. How many playoff wins does Carr have?

BM: 29-30 (.491)

DC: 28-34 (.452)

So based on winning percentage......Trubs is better than both.....LOL.

Through his first 4 years as starter.

Since he's been in the League for about 4 years.

Hey, how many playoff wins does Carr have?

And it's not on him at all that 6 outta 8 years he's had a losing record right?

What do you not understand that I'm only talking about Mayfield & Carr? Oh dammit, I asked you if you understand. My bad.

@Wamu the one losing his shit.....LOL.

Wait a minute, who exactly is losing his shit here?

Was only talking about my QB and yours.

But you wanna talk about Trubisky.

Stay focused DJ instead of adding a QB to this topic that doesn't belong.

You seem to have an issue with what the numbers say. Which are Mayfield's first 4 years were better than Carr's.

No QB accumulates playoff wins, the team does. Since there are 22 starters on offense and defense.

In 2014 the Raiders allowed the 32nd most ppg in the League.
In 2015 they were 22nd.
In 2016 they were 20th.
In 2017 they were 20th,

That isn't good. And they didn't have a good running game either.

In 2014 they were 32nd in running the ball.
2015=28th.
2016=6th.
2017=25th.

The Browns?

In 2018 (Mayfield's rookie season) they allowed 21st most ppg in the League.
In 2019 they were 20th.
In 2020 they were 21st.
In 2021 they were 13th.

Let's look at the Browns running the ball.....

2018=14th.
2019=12th
2020=3rd
2021=4th

You lose. No QB can win games by themself.

You said winning percentage determines who is better....can't make this up.

Trubs has a better winning percentage than both so in your high mind that means he's better......LOL.

And not once have I said a QB wins games all by himself. You're saying that.

Seriously find the exact comment of mine where I said QB's win games by themselves.

This is your opportunity to back you bullshit if. Because if you don't you know what that means.

No I never said that. All I said was through four seasons Mayfield has a better winning percentage.

How can you disagree with that?

I'm not talking any trash. I'm going by what the numbers say.
