I wouldn't be surprised if Lance has had more practice time with the first team this year than Love had in two years.
Probably given that Lance is the QB of the future in SF, whereas Love shouldn't have been drafted where he was.

They moved on when Favre indicated he was retiring on March 4th (which he later rescinded and was traded to the Jets).
Yeah, at that point, Green Bay knew what they had with Rodgers. They were glad to move on from Favre because he was becoming a pain in the ass, and they knew Rodgers was the real deal. Rodgers is starting to become a pain in the ass, but they won't move on because they know the alternative is Love, and he's just not good. Plus, if they moved on from Rodgers, it frees up significant cap space and they could put resources elsewhere since Love's on his rookie contract (look at Seattle when Russ was on his rookie deal and how they capitalized).

The contract part was my point pages ago. So now you agree with me, lol?

As far as moving on from Favre, they didn't do so until he announced his retirement (and later wanted a trade). They didn't force Favre out whatsoever.

No, now you're comparing Russell Wilson to Jordan Love. Love will never reach that level, I can almost bank that.

I'm saying, if GB knew they had another situation where they could transition to an elite QB that's on their rookie deal (with Love), they'd do it now and then they'd be able to invest resources in the rest of the roster.

Your argument is that with Love, the Packers can invest heavily on resources , WHILE STILL BEING A CONTENDER. My argument is they won't, because Love isn't good.

If you're not getting reps, it speaks to ability.

What QB get 1st team reps when one of the best ever is the QB? This is a horrible argument to defend your case. Love may be bad but using him not getting reps is lame. If the roles were reversed, Lance wouldn't get reps either

Can you give me some insight? Haven't had a chance to look it up.

Some piece of shit molested a 4 year old girl at his (the POS's parents) daycare that they ran out of their home. The POS was being driven by his parents to get fitted for an ankle bracelet because the idiot judge released him without bail. So Cain jumped in his truck and chased them through about 3 cities. Apparently, he also shot at them a few times and hit the POS's Dad in the hand.

He was arrested and is being charged with attempted murder.

I think Cain Velasquez should have to fight the dude he shot at to avoid prison time. If he wins he goes free. Only fair :D

You make it sound like Love doesn’t get any reps. He’s getting reps, but he sucks. Of course trey lance would probably be in the same position if he was behind Rodgers. But so far in the limited sample size we have - Lance has a future in the NFL. Love probably has at max 3 years.

I hear ya. From what I'm hearing we'll probably be looking at FA for a #2 option. JuJu has been talked about a lot, but he may be cost prohibitive...

What the Chiefs really need is Wes Welker type player. A good route runner who can play the slot, get open underneath and is very reliable to make those 3rd down catches.

Don’t think they have had a player like that in the Mahomes era. And there are usually players like that available who they can get fairly cheap.

like Renfroe on the Raiders. good route runner with good hands. don't see Vegas giving him up anytime soon, though...

agree with you though, coach. a decent level possession type would go a long way...

Doesn’t have to be someone as good as are Renfroe or Welker though.

Cole Beasley is an example of the type of vet who might not be that expensive.
