No, now you're comparing Russell Wilson to Jordan Love. Love will never reach that level, I can almost bank that.

I'm saying, if GB knew they had another situation where they could transition to an elite QB that's on their rookie deal (with Love), they'd do it now and then they'd be able to invest resources in the rest of the roster.

Your argument is that with Love, the Packers can invest heavily on resources , WHILE STILL BEING A CONTENDER. My argument is they won't, because Love isn't good.

Where did I even mention Wilson in reference to Love, lol?

In the end, it seems all of this is moot, as the latest rumors have Rodgers staying.

What the Chiefs really need is Wes Welker type player. A good route runner who can play the slot, get open underneath and is very reliable to make those 3rd down catches.

Don’t think they have had a player like that in the Mahomes era. And there are usually players like that available who they can get fairly cheap.

Landry is likely available. Beasley might be too.

Doesn’t have to be someone as good as are Renfroe or Welker though.

Cole Beasley is an example of the type of vet who might not be that expensive.

Beasley has a cap hit of 7.6m, but only carries 1.5m in dead cap, so could be waived. If they do get Gronk (they're interested), they would likely run more two TE formations to help the run and that could minimize Beasley's role. Assuming Sanders retires, Gabe Davis moves into the #2 WR role and they re-sign McKenzie, Beasley could be expendable. He took some heat for his vaccination stance last year.

Amari Cooper set to be released by Dallas.
I think he’s cooked. He’s going to command a high salary because of past performance but he’s not that guy anymore. Eagles are looking for a vet WR. I hope it’s not Cooper.

He can still play but he was overpaid.

Won't be disappointed if the Raiders bring him back on a decent deal.

Cooper, Renfrow, Edwards, Zay Jones and Waller is a nice receiving corp.

I think the Raiders would be much better off drafting somebody

Lots of WR talent in this year’s rookie class.
Yeah, but they aren't in the wait and see business to see how they pan out.

As long as they don't overpay.....Cooper is a proven vet and has history with Carr.

Browns need a WR having zero depth and Higgins likely gone, possibility of Landry too unless they restructure. I wouldn't trade for Cooper but see what his demands are if released. The fact is they need a veteran (especially if Landry is gone) and draft a WR in the 1st, possibly 2nd.

There are two former Buckeye wr's I'd love to see in a Browns uniform next season. But I have little faith of either ending up in Cleveland.

I thought Wilson would be the better pro but really not sure, Olave is just so smooth and he makes it look effortless and great route runner. Same with Wilson but I feel he has better hands and spectacular catch ability. Both are studs and would be thrilled with either or Burks. Olave 40's time surprised too

Outside of D. Ward can't remember the last time the Browns drafted a Buckeye.

And I heard something the other day that kinda frustrated me. On sportscenter someone was saying the Browns could move up in the draft & take a wr outta USC.

Cooper would be able to sign with anyone once released. Why is he choosing Baker Mayfield? I’ve been saying the same thing about the Eagles . They’re apparently shopping for a vet WR. Not sure why that guy would decide to play with Jalen Hurts when they play a position that is so heavily QB dependent.

London had an amazing year but some concerns too. He could be the next Michael Thomas but too many concerns especially to move up. I like Wilson, Olave or Burks
