Cooper would be able to sign with anyone once released. Why is he choosing Baker Mayfield? I’ve been saying the same thing about the Eagles . They’re apparently shopping for a vet WR. Not sure why that guy would decide to play with Jalen Hurts when they play a position that is so heavily QB dependent.
IDK honestly lol. I mean he proved to have great chemistry with Landry and even though they had the disappointing year they still have the talent. Plus he would be a clear #1, sometimes that is what players want and the Browns have a good cap situation. They just need a healthy Baker and better weapons.

London had an amazing year but some concerns too. He could be the next Michael Thomas but too many concerns especially to move up. I like Wilson, Olave or Burks

I say just get one of them at least. Gotta upgrade the wr's.

Yeah, but they aren't in the wait and see business to see how they pan out.

As long as they don't overpay.....Cooper is a proven vet and has history with Carr.

But the Raiders aren’t close to contender status.

Signing a vet like Cooper who will probably be expensive doesn’t get you anywhere.

Hitting a homer in in a loaded WR draft might.

We wouldn't be signing him anywhere close to his Dallas contract.

Ok,

Even then, he is getting older and declining.

Not going to move the needle much at all.

He is 27.

LOL.

Ok.

I watched him play last year.

He wasn’t the same explosive Amari Cooper you had in a Raider uniform. Not even close.

And there it is. If you’re a team with a question mark at QB you’re going to have to overpay a WR to come.
Well to be fair the Browns are going to have to overpay for just about any player. That being said, if they are going to overpay, he wouldn't be the guy

You guys would be better served grabbing a rookie WR that is NFLready. It's a deep draft for receivers and Cooper would cost more and not be as effective.
Maybe.

I would prefer using the draft to bolster the OL and defense.

Saw a mock draft that had the Browns taking Drake London out of USC. He would make Baker a much better QB. Dude has crazy skills. He only played in 8 games this past season because he broke his ankle...he still had 88 catches.
