I see that more of a coach calling a player out on his bullshit.

And the coach knows the player.

If that is how you are going to handle AB then you shouldn’t have signed him in the first place.

0% chance AB is going to respond in any kind of normal way after what Arians said to him.

Does ankle injury mean you can't walk or jog? Im sure he would fake an ankle injury and miss out on some money waiting for him. Totally makes sense

If his ankle was sore enough for him to not play, it would be too sore for him to be jumping up and down and skipping through the end zone. Plus, he may not have made some of those bonuses anyway because of getting his dumbass suspended over the fake vaxx card.

If you think that's true...you aren't in the real world. This is about all of the shit he's been pulling. When the Bucs signed him, they said if pulled any bullshit, he was out. They gave him a second chance after the vaccination card thing and then he pulls this shit.

He got what he deserved. His bed, he sleeps in it.

Think about it terms of going to court. An event stands on its own; past grievances aren't allowed.

If they truly wanted out from AB, they got what they wanted. I'm not so sure they wanted that result headed into the playoffs.

8 catches, under 100 yds, and 1 td is all he needed over the last 6 quarters of the season. He was the #2 option with godwin out. He would have hit all of those

The public spectacle was AB.

You think the public spectacle happens if Arians just ignores him on the bench instead of telling him to leave?

AB is crazy. If you back crazy in to a corner, you get a crazy response.

Doesn't matter. It's still on AB and Arians has 50+ other players to be concerned about. How does it look to them if he doesn't deal with AB right there? He was already on his last chance before the vaxx card crap...this was just the final straw.

I real how quick some are to think a very professional organization would not handje ttheir business any other way. Tom Brady’s words said all I needed to hear.

I'm guessing any stress on his ankle would've been more likely aggravated by planting and cutting. If he was having issues with even running and jumping, he wouldn't have been active in the first place.

Not to mention, everyone here has played enough sports to know this.

There is a mental hurdle coming back from an injury too. And that hurdle is real.

If a guy feels like he can’t perform, then he probably can’t perform.

Especially when as documented, AB was just a few catches, yards and a TD away from a number of invectives.

Yup if he hadn’t got himself suspended

1. This isn't court and 2. In court, the prosecution can sometimes use past crimes/incidents to establish a pattern of behavior.

You think it is ok to demand a player to get in the game if a nagging injury he was dealing with since middle of October was bothering him again?

Both are wrong here. AB for doing what he did but that never happens if Arians doesnt order him back in on a bum ankle

Very easy.

Ignore him during the game, Cut him after the game.

He was acting up BECAUSE Arians told him to go in after AB said he was hurt.

Causes by Arians.

And? It was the 3rd quarter in their next to last game. He may not have played enough in the next game to get there. Also, you don't think he knew how close he is? If it's that important to him, he shouldn't have done what he did. Then he'd have the next game to possibly get his bonuses.

You can make all of the excuses you want for him...this is on him. He pulls the shit he does because people keep overlooking his bullshit.

It doesn't matter either way. The Bucs weren't going into this thinking AB was a saint or in anyway normal. You don't get free all-pro WRs without baggage. If you go down that road, that player needs to be handled differently. Arguing with a player that doesn't want to go back into the game is never going to end well even if that player isn't a "special case" like AB.

So just to confirm your stance. You think it is ok for a coach to tell a player to get in the game if theplayer told his coach that he is hurt?

Let's not forget this player missed 2 months with this same injury and missed practice as well leading up to the game but Arians doesn't get any blame here lol. Got it

I get why Arians was skeptical of AB,

But coaches rightfully get fired for less.

I don't think he considers what he can get away with at all. He just does what he does without any concern for outcome. Getting that ring wasn't going to bring him back down to earth for this season for sure. All star players are that way to differing degrees. They shouldn't be coddled like that, but teams make exceptions when chasing wins and they knew what they had to deal with in AB.

lol

Arians didn't cause this. AB being an immature moron caused this. Unless there's something else that hasn't been reported, this is 100% on AB.

It's not CTE. AB's had behavioral issues for years before he even played college ball. That's the reason he got kicked out of his home at such a young age.
It’s likely a column A and column B situation. CTE can exacerbate existing issues.
