Sounds like OBJ might need some cheese with his whine.

Odell Beckham Jr: nobody 'knows what it's like to be me'

"Every single thing I have to deal with [is] something that nobody else I feel has to deal with. I feel like I'm in a way different position than anybody else in the NFL. I feel like I deal with more. There's things *I've done in the past* but as a man I've tried to grow a lot and try to put a lot of stuff behind me and it's like it just keeps getting brought up."

All I can do is laugh at pretty much anything Pippen says at this point

Mayfield will never reach his potential with that guy around

Ohh I agree with you but that also goes along with my point. You don't start a guy that isn't ready, not developed, etc. You aren't putting him in a good position especially if has one of the worst OL's in the NFL. We knew Fields had these issues watching him at Ohio St and honestly he hasn't been playing football that long a high level. They had Dalton starting, I get he got hurt but they had Foles too. I get the urgency to put him on the field but like I said, what good is that doing. He is running for his life. Maybe it's just me but I'm not sure how that is learning lol. A handful of great QB's sat for years or a year: Mahomes, Rodgers, Steve Young...many more. That doesn't mean Fields will be great but it's best for the kid, who hasn't played much football compared to a 4 year guy.
young and Rodgers sat behind kind of good players. a. smith not on their level but no slouch. Thinking they'd have started if they were much better than the guys ahead.

But I do get what you are saying. Only point is for me is if they are ruined by a bad season they weren't gonna make it.

Agreed. Might be addition by subtraction. It's very similar to what the Phins did with Tannehill and Brandon Marshall way back in 2013. Many thought Marshall's attitude was holding Tannehill back. Same could be said with Baker. Baker has flashed and seems to have elevated the Browns.

I don't think it was a coincidence that Mayfield's numbers improved after he got injured last season. And I'm not saying he can't play, he can. But OBJ & Mayfield seem like a bad fit.

MJ was the most important player on those great Bulls teams. Scottie shouldn't have said anything in the first place. He looks foolish.

Yep. Without OBJ in Stefanski's system Baker has been great, nothing short of it. I know it wouldn't be an easy decision but you have to do what is best for your QB and the TEAM. Cut him. The next two years (22 & 23) there would be no dead cap so it would be around $9M for the rest of this year, I think. He isn't productive and honestly a negative at this point if he is dropping timely passes and he isn't a good blocker.

The stats are pretty clear.

But people got to stop with the trade talk.

Mediocre players making OBJ money in the NFL don’t get traded. They get cut.

In OBJ were an NBA player with a fully guaranteed deal, the team would have to attach multiple picks to move him.

Well that is likely the reason he isn't being traded unless the Browns are too stubborn but his contract is team friendly. It isn't crazy thinking they could get a late round pick for him. I think he is due only about $9M for this year and they could have the Browns pay for that in the trade. He has $0 dead cap the next two seasons so if he doesn't workout for these 9 games, they can cut him. Not much risk imo. Giving up a 6th for example is nothing especially the talent you usually find in the 6th....but even then there would be a handful of teams at best interested.
