I get this logic but disagree. Main reason many teams have more money are their TV deals. However, their TV deals are useless without all the other teams......I mean, should one team get, say, $2 mil for a broadcast from a game when the opponent gets, say, 300K?

If one team is worth $2 million and the other isn't...why not?

Curious if anyone ever asked Peterson why he went for 2 on last TD. Incredibly dumb. Did he think this was the same as going for 2 late to make it a 6 point game (and 8 if you don't get it)? Earth to Doug...it's not. The latter way you need a TD to win the game (or tie) either way. The way he did it by missing his team needed a TD to win as opposed to FG to tie had he gone for 1.

Glad it didn't matter for us.

would've been kind of funny if they recovered onside and got in field goal range but lost because they needed a td

weird to go for 2
as mentioned in my earlier post that made zero sense. I really think he thought it was the same situation as the last TD he tried to go for 2 (until a penalty made him go for 1)....but it wasn't.

abstentia, eh? Sounds like my kind of show.

Netflix?

another good one that came out recently is Bodies. Basically a story across 4 different time lines involving a detective in each one and a little time travel

that one is Netflix

injuries to the qb position. Even a guy who played through it (Lawrence) wasn't himself.

I think the real takeaway is teams gotta have a good backup. All this investment into the starters is causing teams to neglect depth.

we had the 3 teams make super bowl runs with backups in the 80s/ 90s and obviously the Eagles most recent. Backup qb needs to be a priority.

It's not just that. A lot of it is coaching. Every week there's numerous examples of teams doing something dumb. Like last night, the Bills were basically begging KC to come back and win with their game management.

I'd agree there is some shoddy coaching and we seem to be hitting a strange spot of an overall lack of creativity from some teams.

It's just a process.

They can protect 4 players a week from being signed I believe.

They can activate him up to three times I believe to save the roster spot.

They will do the same thing next week, this might be the 3rd time though.

He will be the starting QB for the Browns the rest of the season. No worries. A process bc the Browns have so many injuries. I think has to do with the cap too.

Yes. They aren’t the same broadcast and it doesn’t air in the same region. Teams that actually create a demand and can actualize that in negotiations have a right to make that money. And if that franchise has a good owner they invest that back into salaries for the baseball team.
