Yep! Strength of their team is their defense, especially in this matchup. If you go for it there and it doesn’t work out, you put your defense in a great spot and a chance to make an impactful play. That crowd? Calling plays out of your own end zone? Great spot for the PSU D. To me, it’s worth more than 3 points in the 1Q of the game.

It is my most talented group of 5 classes. Most of them will score high but it’s the first big writing assignment of the year. I like to start off by setting a high standard they need to work to reach by year’s end. Only so much you can do in that regard with talented kids already doing good things. But thanks.
