That is one thing Philly has done exactly right.

They play a team like the Titans who is elite against the run and bad against the pass, they go Bills style pass happy.

Then they play a team like Dallas who is vulnerable against the run and elite against the pass, and they play like the Bears.

That is how an offense capable of beating you either way should be playing.

I never was a big Mayfield fan, even when he was at OU. He was a truly great college qb though who fed off of feeling like everyone was against him. This season that has pretty much literally been the case and last night he showed that he can still be an extremely accurate thrower of the ball. He had help from the Raiders last night for sure, but not many guys would have succeeded in that spot I don’t think. I don’t expect much out of him going forward but it was certainly a good moment for him.

I didn’t like him much in college either but the guy just wants to win, I realized that pretty quickly. He didn’t play great but he wasn’t working with much and limited preparation. Happy for the guy. I knew the best thing for Cleveland was to part ways but no hard feelings. The guy is the ultimate competitior.

This isn't basketball, Carr isn't playing defense and if there isn't much talent on offense, it's not like he can just keep the ball and run for a bunch of touchdowns the way a basketball player can decide to do most of the scoring for his team.

Last night Carr was only 11-20 with two int's. That's on him, not the Raiders defense.
