Wasnt a fan of the CGJ trade as he was one of my favorites but i was referring to the draft pick trade. Only saving grace is that they used that pick to trade up and acquire Olave who looks damn good with mediocre qbs so can only imagine how he looks if they ever get a good QB. The plan was obviously to be a good team and that pick be in the 20s

The Asian time deal throws even me off for the 5 am games and I'm up early as shit.

What's the deal with all the Asian time zone shit lately

If we throw russia in we have the last 3 winter Olympics. The last 2 world cup and the last summer Olympics.

Like give us a fucking break out here. Europe isn't bad to deal with...but Asian time zones are way off.

Yeah i hate it. Good news is summer Olympics is in Paris then WC is here/canada/mexico. Also see the next winter Olympics is in italy so nice little run for europe/north america coming up

I guess......but if, say, I'm UM and just won at OSU I'm not sure I'd like the idea of having to beat them again to win the conference.

That's a big part of why I don't like CG games. The team that lost the first game usually wins the 2nd one. So, UM loses the B1G title because they lost the wrong game.

That's why they need to go away. Conferences should be getting smaller, not bigger. 10 team conferences, 9 conference games with a round robin format.

But more games and bigger conferences means more money. So, they ain't going back.

Too much money involved. But the larger playoff format will render some of this somewhat unimportant.

In which case having the 2 best teams play for playoff seeding and a title makes more sense.

We place entirely too much weight on one game or series of plays in CFB.
