I’m the biggest Padre fan in the world right now. Two three weeks ago, I thought the Phil’s were dead man walking and doing their September swoon again. They got shit figured out at the right time. Harper was not himself when he came back off the DL. Pressing. Trying to hit 6 run home runs. But he’s been on fire in the playoffs. Phil’s catch Charlie Morton today. Charlie hasn’t thrown in almost 2 weeks. That may have benefited him. His arm looked tired in September. He has a 5.50 ERA vs the Phil’s this year but a ton of playoff and big game experience. Phil’s have to score today because Thor takes the bump and that dude is an adventure. I think today will be a 7-4 8-5 kind of game. Hope the Phil’s sell out today. I don’t think they can expect to get Fried again in a Game 5 situation in Atlanta tomorrow.
He has done a really nice job. I still think they need one more off season to be legit.
