He can turn it around, but he hasn’t been great. Pretty obvious the Broncos needed more than some thought.

He definitely hasn't been.

It's also a new team with a first year head coach who he is trying not to undermine and who was hired when the Broncos thought they were getting Aaron Rodgers. It was also a shorter training camp than usual. So he doesn't have timing down yet.

Some of this is on him as well, just not as much as some seem to think. At some point, he may just have to decide he's going to just do his thing and not worry about undermining the coach. I know that's what he did on the best drive they've had this season.

Part of the problem also appears to be that he's 33 and wants to play 10 more years, so he's trying to run around less and be more like a Drew Brees type of QB. He may need to scrap that for this year and work on it again in the off-season.

It's looking like too much to try to change his game while also playing in a new offense with a new team.

when the Broncos made the trade I said that Wilson's best days were behind him.

you think prime wilson is still there somewhere?

No. But I think there's a lot more left than it looks like right now.

As I posted above, along with new coach, offense and team, I heard that he wants to play 10 more years and is trying to change how he plays to help with that.

I think it's too much for right now. He should go back to "Let Russ cook" this year and try changing his game next year.

Where did I say his best years are behind him?

Not being in his prime, does not necessarily equal his best days being behind him.

Yet another thing you're wrong about, one nut.

Tom Brady has been past his prime for 10 years yet has had some of his better seasons since he was past his prime and has, in some ways, been better.
