Phils had a couple great seasons back then.

I've seen '81, '88, and '20. The renaissance under current ownership is a godsend after the painful Fox and McCourt eras.
Right? Whose idea was it to sell a miserable man a baseball team? Frank McCourt craved despair and failure.

And Dustin did it three more times in his career, barely. That dude was clutch too.

For as long as I can remember I have gone to several Dodgers games a year. Didn't matter how good or bad the team was, I would go because it was always a great time at Dodgers Stadium and fans were always treated very well. It was damn near cheesy how nice all of the stadium workers were.

Fox wasn't terrible, but they were a huge corporation and treated the Dodgers like just another asset. The baseball was frustrating because as a corporation, they just tried to buy things, so to speak and just couldn't put all of the pieces together. There wasn't much, if any, change in the fan experience other than prices going up a little.

Then the McCourts bought them. Within 2 seasons, I stopped going to games. The McCourts basically started using the team as an ATM. Then they started cutting back on staff, especially security staff...that's when we started hearing about fan behavior and opposing teams fans getting attacked.
The parking lot, especially the sections farthest from the stadium, became dangerous and often the trouble was from people who hadn't attended the game.

@fightinfunbags can you imagine if the Iggles added Will Anderson to that defense?

The possibilities.....
Dude I’m so there! Let’s go Saints! I’m rooting on their misery. Right now that pick is 4. Hot damn! Everybody is looking QB. Birds have Hurts so fuck yeah I’ll take an extraordinary pass rusher to replace Brandon Graham. Similar builds and both were 3-4 OLBs in college .

lol @the Russell Wilson stuff.

Starting to think some folks don't know near as much football as they think they do.

He can turn it around, but he hasn’t been great. Pretty obvious the Broncos needed more than some thought.

He's going to drop to 25th or so in qbr after tonight. And he's 34 years old. He doesn't seem to be aging gracefully.

He can certainly turn it around but yea... that contract is gonna look really ugly if he doesn't.

Not the greatest of early returns. They can thank their D for their record.

But Matt Ryan too. Yikes. Colts wishing they kept Wentz.

Yep said to someone last week, this just shows Wentz is a much better QB
