This.

And Brissett's ypg are down because he has been a backup. Mayfield's numbers higher because he starts.

LOL.

The two seasons Brissett was a starter for the Colts- '17 & '19 (15 games both seasons) he averaged under 200 ypg.

Spare me your back up nonsense.

If he's a 1B that doesn't hit well enough for the position, why go into detail? He's a not an impact player.
I actually wanted the Guardians to look at both Bohm or Lux in a Lindor deal......

fortunately- they did the deal they did- since Gimenez is both a better defender and hitter than either of those guys.

Yep they aren’t comparable. Brissett is more of a backup quality. Baker is a starter.

I think it's a funny comparison. One QB is the definition of a journeyman. And the other is the definition of mediocre. But there's no question BM's better.

If you think BM is in the same QB tier as Brissett then your all things Cleveland issues are shining brightly.

BM's a helluva lot better than Brissett.

And Brissett isn't a game manager. He's a journeyman QB.
Baker Mayfield sucks bro. Give Brissett a top 3 OL and run game the way Mayfield played with and they likely have similar results. I’ve ranked both guys in the same tier I like to call “Not fucking good enough”. I know it. You know it. We all know it. The Browns sure as fuck know it. They were so QB desperate that they sent 3 1st round draft picks for a sexual deviant and public relations nightmare. You dont do that shit if Mayfield was serviceable. He’s a QB you play to bide time on a rookie deal. You don’t extend a guy like that with a 2nd contract. Dude blows. You want to split hairs creating multiple layers of “not good enough” then go to fucking town. But I don’t waste anytime debating or dissecting whether or not I prefer my shit sandwich with corn or with out corn. A shit sandwich is a shit sandwich. But I guess you have to do what you have to do when you’re an Expansion Browns fan.

Is he? Then why did the Browns 2.0 trade 3 1st round picks for a public relations nightmare if BM is a legit NFL starter?

I didn't think I'd feel bad for Griner, especially given her stance with the country, etc. But she's the victim of politics, and being stuck in Russia of all places truly sucks. For her sake, I really hope she's not spending the next 9 years of her life in a Russian prison.
Clearly not justice - a 9 year sentence for something as innocuous as a small small container of THC- its clearly politics. I do feel bad for her.

She did go to Russia to make money off a country that hates everything that she is- and participated in a league where the players openly know they only get paid so much because its a money-laundering scheme for the oligarchs.

Trading her for the Merchant of Death- a guy who actively tried to get Americans killed is not a great idea if you ask me. Especially because all it will do is incentivize other countries to detain Americans.

because QB's of Watson's talent level never become available. Literally never in the past 30 years of the league has a QB with Watson's talent been available- and obviously he would not have become available if not for the ongoing issues.

Even withthe issues- at least 4 teams offered 3 first round picks- and a dozen other teams were interested and likely offered as much or close to as much but were eliminated by Watson's team before the next step occured.

You could literally draft a first round QB every year for 10 years and not get anyone close to Watson's level.

lol

USC should hire this guy as a recruiter.

Big Ten definitely has the $$$.

and honestly- a lot better academically/reputation wise as institutions overall than the SEC.....

ND seems like such a natural fit with their yearly games against USC, Michigan, Michigan State.

send Clemson with the other dumbos in the SEC-- let the Big Ten get ND.

Yeah don't take this the wrong way because I like yapping with you.

But you said yourself you're now on an anti-Cleveland crusade.

So anything that involves Cleveland in any way you're gonna have a considerable bias.

I'm not saying BM's good. All I'm saying is he's better than Brissett.

Feel free to disagree if you'd like.

Then why did his team only win 3 or 4 games in his most recent full season as a starter? A QB like you’ve described doesn’t have a season like that unless it’s their rookie campaign. Favre never had a season like that. Neither did Brady or Manning or Rodgers. How does a QB that you’ve placed in the rarest of airs have such a dreadful season?

Big Ten has a lot of really good academic schools/research colleges like USC, UCLA, OSU, Northwestern, Michigan, Penn State, etc....

SEC- beside like Vanderbilt- you go to for a degree in football and cocktail making.

And yet both guys are bottom 1/3 among league starters. Their teams don’t win because of them. They win in spite of them. They aren’t asked to lead their team’s attack. They spearhead a run heavy offense where the pass is the change up because they’re limited in terms of their talent and ability.
One has led a team to an 11-5 record and a playoff win while being a top 10 QB and also set rookie record at time for TD passes. One has never been brought in to be a starter.

I guess we shall see over the 5 years of his contract whenever he does get on the field. He is only 26. Only 3 years older than Jalen Jurts.

And I never debated that. I said they’re essentially in the same tier… not good enough. You want to split hairs over something as silly as “would you rather die in a plane crash or a train crash?”

Bwahahaha! Ohio St is a moron den and a diploma mill. All you need for acceptance at OSU is a pulse and a social security number. Holy shit lumping them in with some of the finest institutions in the world. OSU is the 13th grade.
