Joe, I am working on the rankings updates and unfortunately i came across an rb rankings mistake. it says chris wells and Felix Jones are ranked 6th and 7th. Looks like something is wrong there.

Everything else looks good and are ready to go. i just need you to check out the rbs at your convenience.

Guys keep in mind what we are arguing about on here. The thing that we are disagreeing on is how much work I am doing on the site. I know everyone says they would like to help. Obviously I am the only one who knows website design in the group and actually I am a graphic designer of print and packaging first with some light knowledge of coding and web sign, but I am doing my best even though I don't know everything about it.

But you guys that want to help, even though you can't help with the site that doesn't mean you can't get out there and start pitching it. The name alone (Sam) is so memorable that even if they check it out and don't love it the first time around they are very likely to remember it and come back at a later date. I think they will like it the first time if we can start writing some interesting columns.

strait text with no design I can post very easy because there is no design required. I just copy and past then upload to your personal pages. I am doing a deep sleeper it will be up today. Things like this you can do through out the week and then I can upload them quickly even daily if you guys get it to me. Content is what will make people visit and keep them visiting. So stop pushing me and lets see some Write from Lefty articles all ready. That goes for all of you.

I will do it with the position rankings too Sam so you can copy and paste them to be printed.

I think you mentioned removing Danario Alexander too? Actually that impacts the 200 and the WR rankings. (Keep in mind that I only send you the 200, and the positional consensus. I keep the "master" file. Our so-called 200 has nearly 300 players on it.) Anyway, I made the adjustments, recalculated and sent the new file in email.

The only tabs that are really updated are the 200, RB and WR tabs.

Thank you Foot.
Thank you Lefty.
Thank you Mr. Voice of Reason

Foot, I have something to tell you. But in lieu of the posts that have become part of the fabric of this thread, the timing probably could not be worse.

So let me just start off and say that I respect the passion that you have for fantasy football and I think that you should continue to bring that passion creatively over to MWHS.

I have an invitation, which I have accepted, to write a weekly column. It was sudden and unexpected, but exciting nonetheless. I don't want to minimize the offer, or sensationalize it. It's really just a humble start with the opportunity to do something I've always wanted to do. In due time, I'll reveal more.

I do plan on honoring my committment to update the MWHS 200 one last time prior to preseason week 3. If that's still the plan... no pressure.

Who with Joe? I would like to be able to read it every week. Seriously..............and thanks for all of your hard work...............MWHS feels like the bottom of the 9th, down 1 with a man on 2nd, 2 outs and your guy just crushes one to deep dead center field but the wind is blowing in and just gets to the warning track...............or a wrister off the post (hate that sound when it's in the other teams end) and maybe just a little short.

Joe that is Great! I hope it is a great opportunity for you. I am anxious to hear what you will be doing and for which company (a national site, a start up) in either case you seem excited about it so I am sure it is great.

I thank you for all your help in getting us to this point and you will be greatly missed. But hopefully you can stop by and give us a little love once you are a big star! Good luck my friend!

You guys make it seem like I'm moving to another state or something? Or like I'm leaving the confines of SportsHoopla?

I don't want to minimize the offer, or sensationalize it. It's really just a humble start

With my 6-day per week job, family responsibilities, managing one fantasy league (down from two) and participating in at least 6 others (down from 8), I know that I won't have quality time for MWHS. Best to make the break now.

The writing gig is just a once-a-week thing. Plus I'm not always thinking "creatively." I just don't want to disappoint, ya know?

I've already submitted 4 articles during the off-season, which more or less led to the invitation. The four I submitted are kind of hard to find, so I'll list the links. You may recognize two or three since I basically copied some of the contents (or the whole article) here on SportsHoopla. (Might have made some slight changes.)

Ok guys I mentioned this earlier on this thread but tomorrow morning at 9 AM Mtn (why so early I have no freaking idea) I draft my work league and I have made the decision to use MWHS Top 200 cheatsheet. Now, I will be using the positional rankings along with the top 200 (that's how I usually draft so that's how I'll do it) and I will try to keep notes if I deviate as to why (Foot old buddy don't take this wrong but in the first few rounds I may factor in your rankings of Shady, SJax and Lynch among others) but for the most part I will draft off of our sheets. I have the 5 hole so I'll be hoping for either Martin or Foster to drop to me but I'm sure they won't. BTW, the disclaimer here is that the commish and about 5-6 of these guys are going out to party (commish's BDay) and plan on all drafting from commish's house, so hungover kids+drafting at one house=possibly skewed results. Anyway, I'll post it tomorrow..............I'm confident in this list (and my abilties on the wire......lol).

Sorry but this going to be long

Look I haven't really felt like I can say anything here because I am the new guy, but I am going to anyway and you can always just tell me to shut the hell up if I'm overstepping, but oh my God you guys are being ridiculous lately. This is supposed to be the most fun time of year for all of us and going on this message board is becoming a huge downer. Look I know that it can be frustrating that things aren't getting updated as quickly as they should, but unless any of the rest of us plan on starting a new website and finding someone else that either is as passionate about fantasy football as the rest of us and willing to develop a website for free, or we plan on paying someone else to develop a website (which I am pretty sure neither option is going to happen) then I think we kind of need to get off Foot's back. If it takes another 3 years for the site to get up and running to everyone's satisfaction, then so be it. I think the problem is that we are all sending updates into the site and it's live. In all honesty I really don't think the site should be live right now. I think not only is it getting everybody here frustrated, but it's also going to cause other people that visit the site frustration that we keep posting it will be done and then it isn't. How are we supposed to get these people to trust our rankings, read our articles, and eventually pay to do a league on our website if every time they go on the site they see the same stuff? I would be curious to see how many people visit the rankings page instead of the main website. If you type in fantasy football sites in a search engine, people are going to click on the link to our site because of the catchy name, but the real question is that once they get on the site, are they clicking on anything else? I mean is there any point to writing articles right now about fantasy football before the site is fully functional? Who is going to stay around for the articles on a site if part of it is still under construction, there is no message board, there are no leagues to enter, and a rankings board that looks great, but isn't sortable in any way with no links. I don't know about the rest of you, but if I went to a website and all I could pull up was their rankings, but you can't click on the players name to find out any information or latest news, or injury reports, why would you use that site? I'll use fantasypros.com as an example. Now of course they have been around forever, but why would you come to our site if you can go to their site, pull up their rankings by standard or ppr and when the list comes up you can click on each player and get additional information. I just don't see what is going to pull them to us right now. My suggestion would be to just put everything on hold until after this fantasy season is over. Change the heading to say "Our goal is to be ready by the 2014 NFL pre-season". Foot, there's just no way you can work your day job, run your fantasy teams, write your own articles, and keep going on the website and updating our pages too. It's just not possible. Maybe I am completely off base here, but that's what I'm seeing. I think we are doing more damage than good right now keeping it live, but that's just my two cents.

Bandit, If I could hug you right now I would! I think you understand a great deal. I agree with with everything you have stated. I think keeping th site live though is a better plan. We can just add to it as we go. Once I get done with my drafts and you are right now is supposed to be the funnest part of the year. Until September that is,lol.

I think one thing that will pull people to our site even though we dont have player info yet is our unique insite. It sucks to loose Joe, but we still have ten other heavy hitters who know things that are unique and no one has more passion than us guys. I mean even in the off season every single day we are talking about one thing and one thing only.

The major players in this industry don't even do that. With a passionate team like we have assemebled I am not worried about if we are going to succeed just when. When I think about all the other sites out there that do what we do I hate to say cause I am going to sound stupid it, but I honestly look at them like they are lunch. They just don't have what we have. Well now onje of them has a peice with the signing of Joe. And it wouldn't surprise me if anyone of you guys were next to be offered a deal from a site.

Point is if we stick together we will get there together, alone not so much. In the famous words of Rudyard Kipling. For the strength of the pack is the wolf and the strength of the wolf is the pack.

Bandit, thanks!

Well guys, just finished up and I'll tell you what: as much as I love MWHS top 200 I won't do that again. I was conflicted throughout the whole draft between MWHS and my own rankings that I screwed the pooch on a couple of picks. 12 team, standard scoring but 4 pts per passing TD. Here it is. Missed on a back up QB so I'll have to drop one of my scrubs and will probably pick up Tranny or Cuntler. Anyway, read em and weep. I am.

QB RGIII
RB Charles
RB CJbetterbeatleast1.5K
WR DThomas
WR Danny Amendola (Not happy here)
Flex Lacy/Bernard/James Jones (Hope Lacy or Bernard can win the job and James Jones could step into WR2)
TE Cook
K Bullock
D Chargers (will have to stream but no problem as I usually do anyway)

Bench
RB Tate
RB Ingram
WR Hartline (I do like him this year)
WR VBrown (Be nice if he could live up to expectations)
So there it is....................can't believe I drafted RGIII and no backup. RB's were flying off the board and I am suprised at the value I was able to get with DThomas but thought I would get better with my WR2. I like Amendola this year but more as a WR3 with upside. I will draft the rest of my teams with my rankings for damn sure.
