Lions help the Packers win the division and screw the fan base yet again now that Caldwell job is secure.
He better get canned if they lose out.
I think thats a horrible idea for Gerritt. They essentially could wait a month before their top tier guys need to play. Resting player has never got a team a Lombardi, that I can remember anyway. One would think when most likely it'll the Cowboys second string playing tomorrow night with Tony Romo.

But I hope he does it.
That'd be great. It'll probably be played like a pre-season game. Give the starters some reps and see what the others can do.

Is that why he throws underhand?By the way... doesn't Stafford have an injury they can blame losing out on?

It'd be the most disheartening day for me as a Lions fan since Barry walked away. They lose out and nothing happens, BQ moves down a rung for me.
This game has no bearing on the division anyway. It's winner take all next week. They need the win to make the Redskin game meaningless.

Now if the Lions win the North, Caldwell will be here for a few more years. I guess that means some unnamed Lions fans will be cheering for the Packers next week.
Other than me?McDaniels has publicly announced his intentions to take a HC job next year. That's BQ's guy. If the Lions miss the playoffs I'd expect BQ to move quickly before another team snatches him up. If another team does snatch him up, the chances of Caldwell staying increase dramatically.
