With that... I feel like this season is close to being done in terms of postseason hopes. 4 games back with 16 left to play and having to jump over 4 different teams feels a bit of a tough task imo. Jays already won with Yankees and A's leading their opponents, so this lead may widen by the end of the day. You're looking at a 2-5% chance of making the playoffs as things stands and they could make it, but it'll be very difficult.

Need to smack KC around a little bit to continue to have hope.

These boys exceeded expectations this year and I have really high hopes for them next season. Still an excellent season imo.

its not over...but they are not in the drivers seat...for sure....and they would have to make a serius...win run...to make it..with 16 games left..
every game is a 1/2 a game......in the standings
and they are 4.0 games behind...at 1/2 a game a ...game they would have to win 8...as long as the teams above them...stay in the same spot......
they wont...so they are really on the brink...right now...

angels 3 games..
As..3 games
then angels 3 at the end..in oct..end of the season is oct..3rd

however it turns out...the mariners have done a good job this year......for the most part without a couple of there....... star guys...lewis and white..and a good amount of time..without..gonzales..as well..and the addition's of .......toro//and taylor.......where key additions...and hopefully..will be in the future as well.....
with the addition of taylor(if they can keep him_)...Nick Margevicius 52 IL-60...may be expendable.....

as far as Anthony Misiewicz 38..goes..he has done a food job as well....he comes out every game...after the starter,,go's out of the game.seems like anyway..if he comes out twice........in the same series.....after..the starter.....that is taking a big risk......they need at least one more guy..who does that...
once a team has seen a relief guy once in the series...they get on him sooner...the next time.....so that is hard,,,,rock and anvil...
so i say..he has done a good job...imo

as we can see...they have started to look..like a playoff...team.......and hopefully will have a good offseason ...and get the remaining pieces they
they need to go deeper in the playoffs;;;;;world series...would not hurt my feelings...any....lolol..but that is just me.....lol

I knew we werent going to make the playoffs after the Arizona series but I think we will finish the season in a good place and I am happy with the things I have seen this season.

Here is a good look back at the 2015 International Signings. This was a class that set up 3 franchises for years to come. Unfortunately it looks as if the Mariners whiffed on it. I tried finding their signing and see nothing since 2019 season while guys like Vlad, Tatis Jr and Soto have become their respective teams future.

I am not saying he is great or anything, but any guy that hits .360 in AAA should not just be let loose from a team that has very few real options.

That is my thing. He hasn’t proved he can be an everyday starter but neither has most of the lineup.
