Scoot will probably hit leadoff, he did for Boston last season and had a lot of success in that role. Stinks for fish, but I think he gets the bench treatment when panda is back.

Hate the f'n doggies. Can't believe they were bankrupt and now move into this buying mode. Have to fall back to one of MSG's earlier posts .... for the first 100 or so games we battled even with them. They then pick up players to fill their worst productive positions. Doesn't matter if they overpaid. They can't do any worse than the first 100 games coming from those two spots. Then they go pick up two RP and are targeting a top starter. I'm thinking that our entire season may very well be settled in the head-to-head games we have left with them .... torture .... and it begins again

I live outside Boston and he did not lead off that many games last season. Only when Elsbury rested did he lead off.

Exactly, one of my buds is a huge Phills fan and he asked me about ToJo and I'm sad to see him go the more I talked him up.

But Pence will be here next year and hopefully Melky too, this is a more typical Sabean move. Beltran last year, I think Sabean was pressured to do it.
