I jumped on the ESPN college football scoreboard and the top 25 immediately comes up. I had to click a few times to find the Minn/Colorado game.
Considering the 10 year run from 1997 -2006, BAMA went 67-53, lots of folks beat them during that timeframe. You can be selective all you want. Minnesota is nothing but a has-been leather football abnormally and a current day Hockey school. Is not Bama the best cfb team in the nation, right now? In the 21st Century? Arguably in all of cfb History?
Not being a Bama fan, I don't know who else Bama lost to during that down period they had before Saban got them back to winning most of the time. EXCEPT, being a Gopher fan, I do remember that Minnesota beat them during that down period, so I used THAT specific game to make a point. AND... seeing as how low of opinion so many of you have of UMn football, I figured there was no better game to highlight the point I was trying to make. DUH.

Why would you do that when your team is playing?Yeah, so?
I clicked on a list of Cfb Natl Titles and was confused as I couldn't find a single mention of Oregon?

Not that homer. Not only does he overly pimp up anything Minnesota Gophers now he pimps up anything Minnesota related. It's really weird how he thinks the state of Minnesota rules everything. His homerism was funny at first, now it just lame.
MN played two teams that year that had a +.500 record. Wanna guess the outcome?Clemson went through a long period of not being all that good before they jumped up hard into serious relevancy. All it took was a great new coach.
Bama hasn't ALWAYS been good, hell the Gophers beat them the last time they played.
I remember a period when OSU was struggling as well. What cured that? A great new coach.
So just because UMn went through a long period of not being all that good, doesn't mean that now with a new stadium, a new practice facility and a new coach, that something like going 11-2, and winning a Div Title can't happen, right? Oh wait, Fleck accomplished both in 2019, his what? His 3rd season at UMn?

I live in MN, the game isn't even being televised here. Pretty patheticWhy would you do that when your team is playing?
Wasn't much to see. Colorado's offense is a helpless. It was a slow, grinding beat down.I live in MN, the game isn't even being televised here. Pretty pathetic

The last time someone shut out Colorado in Boulder was in 1979.
----Minnesota extends it's nation's leading ooc winning streak to 21 wins.
Going back a few years here's Minnesota's OOC record.
2019- S. Dakota St., Fresno St., Georgia Southern + a bowl win (4-0)
2018- N. Mexico St., Fresno St., Miami (OH) + a bowl win (4-0)
2017- Buffalo, Oregon St., Middle Tennessee (3-0)
2016- Oregon St., Indiana St., Colorado St. + a bowl win (4-0)
2015- lost to TCU 23-17 to start the season
So that's 15 wins in a row vs. OOC teams and not the 21 you're trying to claim.
He fights with no much really ... I gotta respect that ... you fight with someone that keeps going after you beat them, you are gonna lose. Not surprising that FDF would stretch the truth (or outright lie).
Unfortuneately, FDF is right this time. They may have lost to TCU to start the season, but won 4 later that year, so those would go into the equation, since they happened after the TCU loss. Not surprising that FDF would stretch the truth (or outright lie).
