I never said UMn "created" basketball, just that they took someone else's creation and ran with it. They won the first intercollegiate bb game, were the first college basketball dynasty, and were hugely influential in the creation of the NBA, oh and created the first NBA dynasty, too. And we're ranked Top Ten in the country at producing NBA players into the 21st Century. UMn's still like 11th or 12th in that regard.

UMn is #1 in the country in Men's Outdoor Track. And it's not even close. Granted it's early in the season and most likely they won't maintain the #1 spot, but it bodes well for them and you never know, it's a possibility they could win another National title.

UMn's got more Top 3 rated competitors(6) than Oregon's got Top 40 rated guys(5). lol

I don't think Oregon, as a team, is even rated Top 100?

And UMn has a 10-4-0 record vs those 5 teams. They also beat #2 & #14 as well in the ooc.


In the PWR, they win their comparison with every single team in the country, including having wins in head to head matchups with #2 & #3.
